Elyria Public Library-West River Branch

This library is very unique. First time I came. Nearly panicked though because this library is with clevnet but their own entity. As I dropped my books and was told summer reading for Columbia Branch was different for this branch. But you can still check out books here, even if you're part of the other branches. I will be back.

My favorite library! I come here to use their computers every since my printer took a hike. The ladies are always so kind and helpful. I appreciate their patience and attentiveness.. especially since I ask so many questions. I don't want to screw anything up since it's not my property. They have really changed things up in there too and have so many cool events for children and adults. Its nice to see there is still a public library that helps out the community by trying to get everyone involved!

Very Helpful Staff. Always willing to lend a hand for Printing Projects. Highly Recommend. Stop in when You can. They were very Helpful again today reloading funds on My account to use Their Printer.

Absolutely love this library. The librarians are incredibly helpful.

I love the Tai Chi class that is currently being offered. The instructors are engaging. I have arthritis in my back and sciatica. Both conditions worsen in the winter. I truly hope this class continues beyond December.

I absolutely love this library and the people that work there. I have not met 1 employee there that was anything short of wonderful and polite. They always call if I return a movie without the disc (has happened a few times when I forget the movie is still in the player) so I have a chance to bring it in. Always quick to answer my questions. Even today, I dropped movies off in the outside bin and they happened to have missed the container on the inside. When I noticed they were still on my account the lady went right outside and called me back within 5 min to not only let me know she found them but back dated them so I didnt owe a fee (even tho I was still a day late). They are very understanding and very helpful.

Going to Elyria Public Library is always a good experience. The staff is very friendly and always helpful. Recently remodeled it creates a nice atmosphere in which to relax and enjoy a book or during use of a computer and they have a very nice children's section. I always enjoy visiting the library.

Gotta love the library. I have neuropathy in both of my legs so I don't walk that well and today was particularly a bad day they have a cart that somebody donated to help people like me get around the library so it's very helpful. The librarians are always super helpful and sweet.

Free seeds and cuttings,painting,crafts,pottery classes.animals to visit a world of adventures in reading too! So much more I'd need to write my own book to cover it.

I LOVE reading and anime/manga. So, today I , my sister, and my nieces and nephews all went together and they had fun. I will definitely come back to read some books.

The staff at the Elyria Public Library West River Branch are first rate and knowledgeable. I've never had a problem getting assistance there or had any impression other than that of the utmost proficiency at their duties and professionalism.

That cannot be said for the other recent reviews/ reviewers on this site.

First, the name calling and rude references to physical attributes of others in describing the services rendered from a facility calls into question the credibility of the reviewer themselves. It provides a little bit of insight into the reviewers' own etiquette when interacting with others to describe people in such a demeaning fashion. Second, not sure how much credence can be given to reviews written by 1) someone who is taking a class on how to think...and is proud of it or 2) someone who openly admits to having serious mental derangements and wants us to believe her experience getting a library card set off an episode of instability. Both reviewers apparently have nothing but time on their hands to write nasty review after nasty review having collectively submitted 160 reviews on this site and rarely having had a positive experience. Frankly, ladies, your reviews appear to be more of a reflection of you and your inability to "play well with others" than of those locations or services you are attempting to degrade.

Very clean, people are very nice, not crowded yet people may not realize that they are opened. Very beautiful plants inside

Super friendly and informative staff there. The remodeling made it beautiful and go there every week.

My children love how the children's area has been redecorated to also include the touch sceen computer for use. ❤❤❤
