Great food, menu focused on steaks, seafood, pasta and other Italian specialities. All the food we had was great, especially the seafood. Great wine selection too. The panna Cotta needs some work but the bread pudding was amazing.

Wait Time: None for a group of 5 on a Sunday evening.

Ordered:
-Calamari: yum! Soft calamari with a light breaded exterior. Comes with cocktail sauce and chipotle aioli.
-Braised Short Rib Gnocchi: pillowy gnocchi with an array of mushrooms that were soft, bouncy, and flavorful. Sauce was a rich, beefy Parmesan crema. Portion was large and I took half of it home.
-Shrimp Scampi: friend ordered this and it was a delicious dish. The shrimp were large as cooked perfectly.

Vibe: Nice date night vibes.

Would I return?: Yes, I’d be open to returning for pasta!

First time coming here was for my birthday last year. Great food, amazing service.

Have come back a few times after to visit the bar on the other side of the restaurant and the rooftop bar. Great service, great drinks.

This place was an amazing restaurant by far. The service there was impeccable. They were so nice and they did their job very well. I ordered the bolognese and it was big enough for two people. It had an amazing flavor in the shredded cheese on top and the sauce with the pasta made it perfect. It was also a little bit dark to enhance the atmosphere and I thought it was very nice. I cannot wait to come back here because of how good the food is and the restaurant. The only minor problem that I had was that the lava cake that we had for desert didn't have the melted chocolate ganache inside. It just didnt melt but it was still very good. This was an awesome place and I highly recommend it to everyone.

So I came to Alba’s for my partner and his sister birthday dinner. Which it’s was in November My mother in law new the manger lol. The food was fabulous the vibe of the restaurant was inviting. Was my second time eating here. I have to say for the second time around . Food was much better .

Came here when we went to Boston, and we walked from our Airbnb. This place has such a great rooftop vibe - very energetic and lively. We had fresh oysters here, and they were so huge and fresh. I loved them. Then, we had a salmon sushi roll, and that was the best salmon I have ever had. We shared the sword fish steak, and it was a bit fishy at first, but it was good after a few bites. This place was very good though, and I highly recommend it.

It was our first time there! We loved it! It was perfect - we came at a quiet lunch time and enjoyed the elegant athmosphere and very good food! We will definitely be back.

We tried soups, regular and lamb burgers and chicken parmesan. We also had a bottle of prosecco and lemonades. Everything was great!

It seems the server was just starting out and still learning, but was pleasant and did a good job in general...

In the summer they are using a roof top for dining - something I should experience, too.

My personal favorite is the braised short rib gnocchi. I have gotten it a few times and it's still my go to birthday dinner choice.

We also got the calamari which was very tender and my daughter got the Mac and cheese side dish. It was a bigger portion than I expected. For dessert we got the Panna Cotta and the chocolate lava torte. Both were great!

I have been here multiple times and sat in all the rooms and rooftop bar. The rooftop is very nice, with a full bar and tv, perfect for warm days. The two different dining areas in the interior have different vibes, one is a nice restaurant that could border on formal and the other side has a bit more of a bar vibe. It can be a bit confusing to find the main entrance as there is a big glass sliding door that stays locked on the side where the main street is. The door is actually on the corner. ALBA and Zef cicchetti are part of the same restaurant so it pops up as both when you search it.

The servers have always been attentive without rushing. The food was DELICIOUS. I'm a big seafood lover and the raw bar/seafood options do not disappoint. I can recommend Crab cakes and raw oysters for an appetizer. These were the best raw oysters I've ever had. For entrees I can recommend the Diavolo linguine and the grilled octopus. Both were very tasty. I highly recommend getting an order of truffle fries because they are addictive. It all paired nicely with a Chianti red wine. I will for sure come here again on date night.

Suitable for solo, friends, families and dates. More upscale and pricey of a setting but well worth it in the food!

It's central location to Quincy Allows for a bit of a run around looking for parking but it is doable and it is also fairly close to the Red Line T. It is nice to take a stroll along the strip after dinner and take in Quincy Center.

One of the top restaurants in Quincy, especially if you’re looking for a rooftop bar and restaurant to chill at. They have a separate place named Zef roof top but its essentially under the same roof and from the same kitchen in case you’re wondering.
From what we ordered, I highly recommend the truffle gnocchi and bolognese, it was sooo good! They apparently have a very seasoned sushi chef in the kitchen and they weren’t kidding regarding his experience. The sushi rolls had a great proportion especially with how tight he rolled them. The fish itself is fresh and I have no complaints. The truffle fries were also very good crispy and nice hit of parmesan and truffle.
The other dishes were good but nothing that I raved over. The calamari was nicely crusted and the banana peppers helped elevate the flavor but I felt it needed something else. The pizza was meh, too much cheese and almost no sauce, wish it was crispier too. The other pasta dish, I think the 4 cheese ziti, was good but the sauce was a bit runny and the ziti itself tasted overcooked. I was looking for more of a firm texture/al dente. The burrata was good too but again nothing crazy.
Overall loved my time here and the staff was very prompt with drinks and the food. I would 100% come back and try other menu items.

First and foremost, our server was so attentive and experienced. The service was impeccable, really happy about that. The oysters were so fresh and the steak was seared a perfect medium rare. For dessert, the Panna Cotta was so good. Prices are also reasonable and I won't hesitate to come back!

We love Alba for the food and the ambiance but wanted to give them a special shout-out for the service and attention we had on our most recent experience. Around 35 people came to the roof deck on a rainy stormy night for a 30th birthday party. The staff was so incredibly accommodating - from offering to help set up decorations, to slicing up and serving a birthday cake that we brought in, to staying open even as the rain picked up and only our group was up there. Even our phone conversations with the manager on the day were next-level in terms of willingness to help accommodate us. Can’t recommend enough! And try the Winter/Summer in Italy drink - it’s fantastic.

Amazing steak house! Everything we ordered was outstanding. The service was remarkable!The calamari appetizer was perfectly battered and fried to a crisp golden brown and their chipotle aioli sauce was an amazing compliment to the dish. The filet mignon and the New York strip were packed with flavor in every juicy, tender bite! The sides and the drinks were great too! I can not say enough good things about this establishment! It’s a little bit on the pricier side but it’s worth every penny!

Delicious cocktails and the friendliest service i’ve had anywhere in a long time. I forget the name of our bartender, but he was absolutely hilarious and super engaging even though it was busy. The owner “created” seats for us because we weren’t able to find any. Super kind and helpful staff. I highly recommend the espresso martini (which I ordered “dark”, and it was still great!)

Alba is one of Quincy's premier restaurants. The dining experience is high quality but affordable. The wait staff are excellent, drinks well made and the food is always delicious and well prepared. I highly recommend that Alba is one of my favorite restaurants.

We love to come here for the steak and just recently tried the sushi, both are equally delicious.

We went for our anniversary and had a great dinner. Crab cakes, cod, short rib gnocchi... all of it was wonderful. And our server (Daniel) was to notch. He gave great recommendations and was very attentive. Finally, we ordered dessert (bread pudding) and just had to order a second round.

We started standing in the bustling bar area, but still was able to make quick eye contact with the bartender, Micheal. With how great the martinis were, and recommendations on the steak, we waited for a seat at the bar. We ordered a rib eye and a sirloin. Both came out absolutely perfect, the mac and cheese was incredible as well, and the whole evening the pomegranate martinis kept flowing. The highlight of the evening was Micheal though, as good as the food was, the service is what really put it over the top. Will be back!!

Great food at a great value. We have come here for a nice sit down and for a more relaxed night at the bar, and were not disappointed either time! Need a place to celebrate something? You can never go wrong at Alba's!
