Great local establishment featuring a modern take on American fare. Drinks were complex without being too pricey and all the food I had was great. I really recommend the duck, really neat balance of textures and tastes combined to make quite a delicious dish. The owner was there working himself which is always a great sign and shows their passion and commitment to quality and service. I walked 2 miles to get there and it was definitely worth it, go try it for yourself.

Super nice little place with great food 👍
We sat at the bar and the bartenders were busy but did a great job attending to us and checking in! Apps were delicious, got the mozzarella stick and the ricotta toast. Food took a little while but they were busy and everything was delicious.

That was our second time there, but we should have been back sooner since 1st time was great.
That's a nice atmosphere with great service, all the staff was friendly and always there when we needed.
The food is really good like a 4.5, but the highlight are the cocktails. Combining with our 1st visit, we already tried like 4 different options, and they were all amazing.
We had the burrito which taste better than it looks, the burger has a sauce that's phenomenal, my wife had Salmon and loved it. We even tried the desserts, which are quite big and could easily be shared. The plantains were delicious with the dulce the leche, while the chocolate is the only dish I'd rate lower than 4.

We'll definitely go back, and suggest everyone to give it a try!

Came as a party of 8 and ordered every appetizer dish to share, as well as a few entrees. Everything was delicious! The shishito peppers and deviled eggs were actually spicy, and the Caesar salad nicely dressed! My personal favorites are the salmon tartare, which paired very well with the plantain crisps, and the friend pickles (just like dill chips)! Service was very friendly and fast. I would definitely come back again.

Amazing spot! Absolutely everything, food and drink, is hand crafted. The flavors they choose are extremely intentional. Their menu is always evolving, but I trust their chef will always have something new and delicious for you to try @amp_eats (instagram and Facebook)

Every cocktail made to spec with perfect accuracy. Mostly all takes on classics so heavier on the alcohol side which is rare and amazing these days. Ace bartenders. And the forbidden rice with the Long Island duck was ridiculously good. First time I’ve had it and it overshadowed a 5 star duck. Zach the manager walked us through the menu like a gent. This block in Quincy has the best of the best and this is #1.

Honestly that duck just blew my mind. Crunchy skin, and the meat was super tender. The gnocchi was another favourite, melted in my mouth.

The most tender balls in all of Quincy! We had the Korean duck meatballs tonight and they were incredible. I love the constantly evolving menu and well-crafted cocktails

Food- amazing. Staff- so friendly. This place is a hidden gem that is bound to be uncovered any second. Would have taken a picture of the wife’s burger but it was gone before I had the chance

The owner was at the door to greet and get us seated. I sat at the bar and the bartender, who was very welcoming, took my drink order. He then came by again to take my food order. I ordered the hanger steak. It was prepared medium rare as I ordered and it was delicious. Best I ever had. I also had the Brussel sprouts and the ricotta pancakes. Both did not disappoint. I look forward to going back. I recommend Idle Hour highly. Don’t miss out.

Great place for drinks. Finally an interesting bar in Quincy. This bar feels like it should be in the middle of Boston.

Drinks are not at all too expensive and the cocktails are delicious. We didn't get to try the food it looked great. We will definitely come by again.

Kickass bar, awesome vaporwave aesthetic, and great people. This place has amazing cocktails, but you're going to stay because of the food. The ever-changing menu is based on locally sourced ingredients which keeps me coming back for more. It was hard for me to leave a review because I've been here a dozens of times and the menu is so seasonal... I always judge a place based on the burger. Theirs is consistently good and everything from patty to bun is made in-house. You literally cannot go wrong with anything here. And the front-of-house service is just as good.

Appetizers are always great. My current favorite is the roasted bone marrow, but the mussels are also a close second.

Right now my favorite entree is the Gyro, and you can't go wrong with the chicken or the falafel.

As far as drinks go, all you have to do is ask the bartender for some advice for a drink. They'll ask you a series of 2-3 questions and craft you something amazing. I keep trying to order everything on their menu but every time I go they seem to have something new! But they're always willing to make me something off-menu that I had in the past. Zack and Erin are awesome bartenders.

Everything we ate was just amazing. My favorites were the duck and the salmon. We brought two small kids and they loved everything as well. I appreciate their passion for good ingredients. The service was exceptional and our server made our dinner enjoyable and memorable. Definitely recommend to all of food lovers.

Best restaurant in Quincy, hands down. Best fried pickles I've had anywhere in the world.
Drinks, food, vibe are all excellent.

Grabbed the ribs and potk belly tacos for takeout tonight. The pictures don't give the whole picture on these great tasting dishes!

While waiting, it was nice to listen to music and the sounds of the other guests enjoying dining out once again

We had brunch on a Sunday morning and despite Covid, the place was so welcoming. The food was excellent, I had basic breakfast and my partner had a pulled pork sandwich. Everything was on point. The server came back multiple times to check on us. I will definitely go back again.

We were here for brunch, and the food (a bacon, egg, and cheddar sandwich with home fries for me, and buttermilk pancakes for my partner) was delicious and felt and tasted like home cooking. The service was great: friendly, relaxed, and efficient. When we were there at least (a bit past peak brunch time on a Sunday) it wasn’t crowded. We’ll be back!
