If you're looking for a family atmosphere, or just something laid back with a nostalgic vibe this is a great place! I'd suggest going on an empty stomach if you want a meal and ice cream because the servings were plentiful. I did spend about $20 a person but keep in mind that we had a meal and dessert. If you have one or the other it would obviously cost less....and sometimes ice cream for dinner hits the spot, I'm just saying. I am on vacation and I can honestly say I have every intention of visiting again before I leave... which is a big deal for me because when I go on vacation I like to try as many different places as possible.... highly recommend!

Still great place to stop with my grandkids instead of fast food while training 2 and 4yo for restaurant dining experience. Clean location and restrooms Service was attentive to kids, crayons to color, kid menu, waitress was kind, and even the chef stopped at table to check on us. Very friendly at our NK location visit after fun day at Wilson park. Highly Recommend change it up from fast food. Give the experience to little ones.

Newport Creamery Burgers weren't very good at all. Over cooked and sides, slaw was days old tasting, fries to go (difficulty keep hot). They messed up the order two no cheese, one with cheese. Nope...
Could have been much cleaner than it was, several staff standing and talking. Tables and floors needed attention for new guests. In my opinion. More talking, and paying attention to the order would have been nice.... I will try again...
But not pleased this year.

Love the Newport Creamery style burgers, my favorite with their relish. So good we went back again the next day with my father.
Who doesn't like ice cream? Great variety of flavors. Awesome ice cream floats.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
Our servers both days were very friendly. Busy cleaning in between customers. I like clean places to dine.

We love to eat here since it’s always fresh great food that is reasonably priced and nice big portions. Great service…it’s our go to place.

Great food, especially their breakfast. The Holy Cow Breakfast, which comes with pretty much everything offered, is my usual go to. For lunch or dinner I like to get the appetizer sampler, crunchy grilled cheese, or turkey club. They have really good milkshakes and ice cream too.

Friendly service, clean counters. Still the fluffiest whipped cream ever, with the under counter whipped cream dispenser. Thank you for keeping frozen pudding ice cream on the menu.

Enjoyed the senior meals and I have a good appetite and it filled me up. Also enjoyed the little individual sundae for dessert.

Me and some friends came for lunch and loved it. I've been going to Newport Creamery for years. Love it! I got the 3 cheese grilled cheese, amazing. It is great for a quick bit and great for a longer dine in.

The food isn't as good as it used to be but the dessert was on point and I loved our server. I wish I know her name. We were there around 8pm last Monday night. I hope you can figure out who she was. She's a keepah 😊

I love the way they grill the hot dog buns and they have the best sweet relish!

I had a choc o nutter awful awful as i always do with some malt because its bomb. The service was fast. The man cooking did a great job both times with my seasoned fries and buffalo chicken sandwich. It was steaming hot and drenched in buffalo just the way i like it. You guys should give him a raise.

Really good food, friendly staff, pretty quick. Last trip I had a tuna melt, it was excellent. Friendlys could learn a thing or two here. Can't wait for my next trip back

As a child, my father love to take me to his favorite ice cream shop when we visited my grandparents in Coventry. Wow that shop is now closed, this shop definitely did not disappoint. My children loved trying the awful awful. I also enjoyed an authentic Rhode Island coffee cabinet. Quick and friendly service at the walk up window.
