35 Aborn St Parking

I ALWAYS park here for RI Pride, and have never had a problem. Cash only, so be prepared. But you should always have cash on hand if you're going to be parking in a lot in a big city.

Never park in this lot. We were going to the pizza place nearby on a rainy day and planned on paying online, quick and convenient. We went to look at the zone # sign and the attendant began yelling at us to come over to the little shack where you pay. He was NOT pleasant and ended up charging me $28 after he told me it would be $14. Will not be parking in this lot again.

They do not accept cards for payment, only cash. The gentleman in the booth kindly "allowed" me to park and walk to the other side of the block to use an ATM. As a young woman, I felt unsafe walking down an alley to go get cash out of a drive up ATM, and then walk back to the parking lot in the evening, alone. It is 2018, your grandma could process payments on her cell phone using a square, or Venmo, I can pay parking meters with an app or credit cards, but a business can't be bothered to accept non-cash forms of payment? Undoubtedly as a means of tax evasion. Please get with this century and start accepting other forms of payment.

You're better off after you go on a night where the ppac is not going on that's when the nice guys are there that I never had no problems with and the other guy that said beware
I will second that and be extra careful

Beware! One of the parking attendant has a really short temper. Also they don’t take card and local ATM doesn’t take discover.
