Chop House Restaurant at New Sheridan

Located in the iconic Sheridan hotel, the hotel itself is a big landmark in town. We are a group of 9 were seated in the corner where the wine cabinets are which is semi private. Our server is super friendly and we got couple bottles of wine from the cabinet they are at a decent price.

The side dishes are good for table share, pretty good portion, so you can order one side per two person to share. The truffle fries are crispy cornbread is warm and fluffy. For the main I shared the bison, the size is pretty big, I can’t imagine to finish by myself. I think everyone else is sharing the main unless you are really hungry

The meal is not cheap definitely a splurge for the trip, but really enjoyed the meal.

Fantastic restaurant, great customer service (like really great) and good food. Right in the center of town, indoor and outdoor seating and what restaurant wouldn't be complete without a bar?! The drip coffee is surprisingly delicious as well as the food. Only experienced brunch, so can't speak for the other meals of the day, but highly recommend if you are in the telluride area.

Wow! We had such an incredible dinner. The food and cocktails were amazing. We especially enjoyed the filet and the lamb chops which were cooked to perfection. Service was also fantastic. We enjoyed cocktails at the bar after dinner as well. The hotel is such a cool and historic place to visit as well. Love this place!

Stopped here towards the end of lunch on a Tuesday. We shared the French onion soup, a delicious, gooey mess that was thoroughly enjoyable. I had the turkey club which was tasty. He had the local trout salad with poached egg and spinach. We each had two glasses of wine that were very nice.

One of our family's favorite restaurants! We do however MISS the mushroom soup and the seafood tower they used to offer several years ago and are sad that there aren't many new items to try each time we go, because we try to go here 3-4 times a year when we visit Telluride. Please please please bring mushroom soup and the seafood tower back, it was SO good!!

This was a wonderful stop for brunch. We really enjoyed sitting outside with our dogs. Our server was friendly and efficient. The menu options were good. We tried the huevos rancheros and the omelette. I also really enjoyed my Bloody Mary. A little spendy but consistent with telluride prices

We ate here for an early Valentine’s Day dinner and it was spectacular! It was our first time visiting Telluride, so we didn’t know much about where to eat, but am so happy we ended up at the Chop House. We had the most amazing lobster gnocchi starter, my boyfriend said his elk dish was the best he’s ever had, and the French onion soup was to die for. Plus the cocktails were the cherry on top! Definitely recommend if you want a nice dinner outing while in Telluride.

The Sheridan Chop House is must for your Telluride culinary experiences. We love the all day Brunch. Great food with a great vibe and professional service.

Professional staff are genuine and knowledgeable of the establishments history. I was honored to have a wonderful dining experience there. The New Sheridan Hotel is a must to see as well!

Wow I absolutely cannot get over the experience I had at the Sheridan. From the hostess, Nicole, taking special attention to our needs to our waiter Will. Will was funny, attentive, and oh so welcoming. The French Onion Soup and Chopped Salad was absolutely spectacular. It made me feel warm and cozy as the rain fell. The atmosphere was the best part, it felt like the entire staff enjoy being there and happy to help. Kudos to everyone involved! Xoxo!

One of my favorite places in Telluride! We love Simon and look for him every time we come, we were so sad we missed him this trip. But we had Will and the service was so still amazing!! Everyone here is so friendly and always great service and food.

The Chop house restaurant is right in the center of Telluride next to the New Sheridan hotel. Hotel guests get 20% off of breakfast menu. The was good service was good overall a great spot. One of the more expensive restaurants in town. Also on of the more popular spots.

The French onion soup is amazing! The crème brûlée is great as well. Highly recommend brunch here.

Did brunch here and had an awesome time. Need to stop back for dinner next time we are in town. We both got the huevos rancheros and expresso martinis.

If your looking to experience something classic with a great ambiance Chop House is where you want to be! Amazing wine / food and the service was impeccable.

FANTASTIC STEAKS AND SERVICE!!! Had the Strip and my buddy had the Rib Eye both were cooked perfectly and couldn't be any better!! Started with a scallop dinner special that we split as an appetizer.

Really nice steakhouse. It felt like the nicest restaurant in town. The price tag is high but it’s worth it!

I have to say this again. What a great place! The best steakhouse in the state. Fantastic service and atmosphere. What treat!
