If you like cheese and thoughtful, local owners this will be your new favorite place. I have lived in Telluride for nearly 18 years and Over the Moon is my go-to when I am looking for an impressive appetizer, a unique gift, a quick dinner idea, or CHEESE of any sort. The owners have an eye for detail and are so sweet and helpful. I ordered a cheese platter for a flight and it was elegantly plated and ready for me to pick up within a couple of hours...everyone raved about it, and it saved me a lot of time. If you need fine cheese, meats, a baguette, a fresh idea, or a quick ready-to-cook sous vide dinner this is the place, hands down.

This is simply one of the best shops in Telluride. It's a perfect spot to grab a cheese plate to go, shop for a gift, or sit an have an afternoon snack. Maura and Hallie, the owners, put their thoughtful, elegant, and very personal touch on everything they do, so it always feels like a special treat. I go there as much as I possibly can, and recommend you do too.

RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL!!

I'm always excited to find a new food establishment in Telluride, ours second home, but sadly this is NOT the case with Over the Moon. This is the third time I've been in the shop, and am appalled at the rude unprofessionalism and lack of any resemblance of service. I actually gave the place not one, but three shots.

First time - lack of service - but chalked it up to off season staffing. Second time - rude and lace of service - but thought, ok, it's holiday season. Third time - rude, extremely unprofessional and lack of service. No excuses left at this point.

The girl at counter - only staff person working - clearly saw I was waiting to purchase items, but decided to help someone who came in after I did. Ok, here's the unprofessionalism. When she could finally be bothered to help me, I got an attitude that I was totally wasting her time. I actually had to ask her for a bag for my items, and she made a face at me. What?? Here's the rude part.

I have no idea how this place expects to stay in business.

Not coming back. Ever.
