Roger Williams Medical Center

I went into the emergency room and ended up having to be admitted! My experience in the er was awful! The medicine they gave me damn near killed me! Then I was treated like someone who just wanted medicine which was crazy to me because I don’t even do any drugs, never had them in my system or anything like that! Anyway, once I got upstairs, my nurse whose name was Amanda was great! She actually went above and beyond to make sure I got what I needed! Let’s face it, no one wants to be in the hospital but her compassion and caring was everything! That allowed me to relax and focus on everything else! She always had a smile on her face and was very pleasant! I wanted to write about her on a hospital card and share it with them but they don’t even have any around! If it wasn’t for her, my rate would be in the negatives but she made it a lot easier to deal with having to be admitted! Zero for the hospital but 5 stars for Amanda!

The service was great . The staff was attentive and kind. When I awoke in recovery they had a cold apple juice waiting for me without requesting it. Just an all out great visit. Hit by a drunk driver as a boy I have had many surgeries most at RI Hosp. But the service I received on 1/2024 @ RWGH was second to none. Thanks to the incredible staff .. L.Santos

Diagnostic wing review - I just returned home from having a small procedure in the diagnostic wing. I have to say, every single staff member I encountered was just amazing. Not only for my own care, but I also observed how caring, attentive and considerate they were to all other patients in the wing. To a level you just don’t see in healthcare these days.

Special recognition to Brett, the RN that was attending me for much of the day. What a wonderful, personable, thoughtful and caring person! I could easily be friends with him IRL, he’s my kind of people!

I normally never go out of my way to write reviews but just had to for this facility. Kudos to all! Doing health care right!

The staff here are amazing. They got me all the help I needed. The doctors check everything and if they don't have enough equipment they make sure to let you know. It's in a great place, easy to access, and if you don't have a ride home they can provide you with one. They helped me set up my appointment for my after treatment. I highly recommend it.

The staff was very personable, professional, comforting, helpful, and really made my procedure easy. They let me know exactly what was going to happen during the whole process. They couldn't have been nicer!
This is why Roger Williams Medical Center is my go-to place for healthcare. I've always had a great experience no matter why I was there. I can't thank them enough.

My stay was great, pain was kept under control during the whole stay. Everyone had great work ethics. The only thing I had a problem with was that at the I was discharged, I was told I can just walk out on my own. I had a hard time finding the exit as I am not familiar with your hospital. Maybe the rule on being discharged has changed, but last I remembered, I was supposed to be escorted out in a wheel chair. Thank you Paula Sousa

Every member of the staff was very professional and treated me with kindness and respect. The ER was very clean, that gave me confidence that they are doing their best to avoid further spread of communicative diseases. Tests and results were done in a timely manner. The PA Jonathan McKinney and nurse kk have excellent bed side manners. I can not express how grateful I am to them. Overall I had a good experience.

My experience at Roger Williams Hospital was nothing short of awesome every one who worked there took an interest, and was so kind to me. I was taking aback with how kind, polite and friendly and caring. Every member was except one, but so many I dealt with that one person doesn’t even matter, but she shouldn’t work there. She doesn’t belong there. Anyhow, I have been in five star hotels that didn’t treat me as good as Roger Williams hospital. I was there for six days and felt like I was going to die and they were fabulous. Thank you Roger Williams hospital. I tell everybody about your organization.

I went in to Roger Williams emergency room one evening not knowing if I was having a stroke or not. The staff was amazing from the minute the nurse took me in to check in. She explained that things were going to move fast because of my symptoms. Everyone was very professional. As all hospitals these days they were extremely busy but knowing they were doing all they could for me and I had to be patient. Luckily it was something not so dire for me and am on the mend. My first time there for emergency but I would highly recommend them

The ER staff were so kind and helpful. The ER physician took the extra time to explain to my daughter what was happening. The surg onc team was very efficient in helping me get a diagnosis and getting the proper tests and procedures done. The Endoscopy and Anesthesia teams were so professional and made me feel safe and well cared for. The nursing staff on center four and Vicki the PA and Dr Espat went out of their way to help me and make me comfortable.
I can’t thank everyone enough.

My mother had knee surgery and she could not have received better care. She can't stop talking about the care she received from Post Op and all the way until her release the following day. Everyone she came in to contact with was both very caring and professional. We all wish to come away with a good experience but nothing beats knowing that our mom's were well taken care. And for that I am extremely grateful! Thank you to all of the staff at Roger Williams!!!

I had to go for testing. Another hospital didn't return my call so my doctor suggested I try Roger Williams (her first choice). They called me right back, got me in quickly. The staff was incredible. I guess I will be using RW again in the future. I was was little nervous about a potential allergic reaction and the staff was so kind and reassuring. I felt like I was in great hands.

My Nurse was amazing, she was kind and caring. My Dr who did the procedure was competent but did not care that I was awake and in pain for the procedure. I did not sign up to be terrorized thru the process and know every step by step of the procedure. What size Guage, is the cup sterilized, please move the sheet, etc...several times I yelled because of the pain. It was not pleasant experience from that side of it...but my intake, my nurses and the care made up for it...

I had such a pleasant and professional experience at Roger Williams Medical Center. I had shortness of breath and chest pain and was immediately taken care of by a caring and compassionate staff . They relieved my stress and made me feel so secure! I will go there again for my medical needs and you should too!

I have an outpatient procedure performed every eight weeks at Interventional Radiology. Registration is pleasant and fast. Upon entering Interventional Radiology I am greeted and the desk and nurses treat me as a friend. My doctor is phenomenal!!!

I had surgery on Oct 5th. I had the best experience! The nurses who took care of me before i went in and when I got out of surgery, we’re amazing! I’ve been to other hospitals and most nurses are rude and make you feel like you are a bother. I didn’t feel that at all here, I felt cared for! Thank you to all you wonderful nurses who actually care for patients!!

I went to Roger Williams ER the other night because I was having issues breathing due to Covid. Despite the wait, they got me in quickly due to my condition. The staff was very professional despite the obvious stress they were under. I would say that the only complaint I have is that I wasn’t seen by a doctor for about 5 hours. However, every staff member that I came across was very helpful, understanding, and kind.

My mother spent four days in the hospital. Two of which were spent in the emergency room because they did not have a room for her upstairs. She was treated so well from the moment we walked in the door. She did have a condition that required her to be taken in immediately so that did help. She was in a private room in the emergency room and constantly checked on. Every person we dealt with from nurses to doctors to the cardiac team to the people delivering her meals were amazing. I do not have enough good words to say about her experience there.
