Courtland Club

We came here late Friday night for a couple drinks & apps. My friend had been here before but this was my first visit. It is deceiving from the outside, I was like are you sure that's a bar?? But once we got inside it was wonderful! Live music, with a DJ. Vibes were on point, drinks and food were good. Bartenders were lovely as well. Definitely recommend this place!

This is my favorite place I have come by since moving to Rhode Island. The atmosphere is amazing and gives off great speakeasy vibes. The craft cocktails have fresh ingredients and are thoughtfully created. You will also get some of the best food in RI here. Highly recommend!

I hesitate to recommend Courtland Club, because if it gets the notoriety it deserves there will be a line down the street.

The cocktails aren't just fantastic, they're fantastical. There are bushes and bitters, infusions and ingredients that you would never expect to find in a cocktail. But each recipe is carefully crafted for flavor and balance. And while I've only had one dish there (lamb meatballs) it was excellent and left me wanting more.

But just as important, the staff across the board has been friendly and welcoming. They genuinely seem to enjoy working there, giving it a young, hip vibe without being pretentious or smug.

Courtland has very quickly become one of my favorite nightlife spots of all time. And those cocktails... be ready for an adventure!

We spent two sets at Jazz on Sunday. The service was great. Food and drinks wonderful. Leland Baker combo played a Coltrane tribute set that was amazing. Can't recommend Sunday at Courtland highly enough.

Came 3 or 4 times with groups of people for drinks later at night, and it has quickly become a go to choice in the neighborhood. The outdoor patio is an excellent place for a casual atmosphere, and I enjoy the projected videos on the wall. Drink options are varied, and there is usually enough listed for non-drinkers as well.
Never eaten more than pistachios or almonds, so cannot comment on the food.

Only problem I've experienced is the music inside when a DJ is playing can be too loud and makes conversations at a table hard. Small space and the stand speakers are setup right in the middle of the tables.

Small inside but it has great character. A bit scary to come inside for the first time since it really does not look like a bar from the outside. Haha. Great small bar foods and even better cocktails. I have gone here since before it was open to the public and I really enjoy it here every time. Even when it ends up packed on date night.

A romantic and chic little neighborhood spot. I actually couldn’t believe this place was so intimate and posh based on its actual location, but I was pleasantly surprised. It feels extremely welcoming. Food is great too and reasonably priced.

Awesome Cocktail Lounge!!! We had already eaten but would come back any day. We wish we had one of these in our neighborhood! Creative, awesome staff and great vibe... If you're not happy after leaving this establishment then you don't know how to live.

A have to go type of place, hidden gem! A small and very subdued bar. Small menu but wonderful flavors. Drinks are very eclectic! I went on Sunday and there was a 3 piece smooth jazz band, fantastic! Definitely can't go wrong for a relaxed evening.

Delightful ambiance. Food is amazing 👏🏼 and the drinks 🍸 are very unique. Loved my experience.

Just open the door to #51 to set on a journey full of intriguing food/cocktails and a lot of other tiny surprises/nuances. Surely worth trying out!!

Great atmosphere and outdoor seating with polite and attentive staff. Delicious drinks and good food. Our server was Sage and we could not thank them enough! Great place for a date, a bite to eat/drink, or for a night out with friends.

This place is fantastic. Their flavored bitters bring any drink extra life. Highly recommend this place.

We went for Jazz Night on 11/20. It was an incredible experience. The musicians were phenomenal, good acoustics, and it was great to be sitting up close. The servers were excellent, kind, and fun. The club was warm and inviting. The dim lighting, candles, lounge chairs, brick walls, and the black wash room make for the perfect jazzy speakeasy vibe. The drinks were top-notch, and the margherita pizza was probably the best I’ve ever had. It’s a special place, and a great introduction to what Providence has to offer.

Was there for a small group and we had a set food menu with open bar. The service was phenomenal. Cannot stress enough that each staff member was simply great. The food was delicious! We had mostly apps but rest of menu looked delicious too (will be going back to try). Drinks were very creative and well balanced between flavor and booze. Lighting was a little too dark for my taste, but that’s my only negative (tough to see properly - maybe I’m just too old). Otherwise a very fun place and cool atmosphere/crowd.

Love their creative food and drink options, astrology inspired cocktails, and Sunday jazz. Couldn’t recommend it more
