ESPERANZA'S Tequila Restaurant

We had a group of 5 on a very busy Friday night and Jamie took the best care of us! Drinks and water were consistently refilled, she checked in on us often, and she really made us feel taken care of. All of the meals came out hot and were delicious. It was the perfect atmosphere for a Friday night and I would highly recommend Esperanza’s if you’re ever in Telluride!

Really quick and good service! Loved the cabbage salsa to start! And the food was really good. One person in our party said it was the best enchiladas she had ever had.

What a wonderful place to meet friends ans share a meal together... The Cabbage Salsa is delicious as well as our entire meals. Esperanza personally waited on our table... Refreshing that a dinner establishment still has the owners still active in the business.. Thanks for a great evening and want the recipe for the Salsa....

Amazing Mexican food in telluride. Owner is amazing and very nice.

One of our fav restaurants in Telluride! 12 of us made reservations for my wife's birthday. When we showed up, we were seated promptly, but the server seemed stressed out. Esperanza greeted us and explained that 3 people didn't show up for work. Esperanza and her staff did the best they could under the circumstances, and you could really tell how much her customers and her restaurant mean to her. She nearly had tears in her eyes, as the place was packed and she was running around like crazy. The staff stepped up and even some of the customers were helping out...it's a small town and and it was nice to see people helping each other. Esperanza still made time to wish my wife a happy birthday, and she remembered her from the previous year, as they share the same birthday. The food was tasty as always and the company and fun vibe will certainly make us return again and again. Thank's Esperanza, Happy Birthday!

Very nice Mexican restaurant, tucked away downstairs in the middle of town. The food, service and atmosphere all excellent.

Chicken tacos were amazing. So good. I left extremely full and satisfied.

We had 3 different flavor enchiladas. The wait was SO worth it as EVERYTHING was DELICIOUS. My family and I were very satisfied and will DEFINITELY come back. Congrats to the cooks 👍🏻

Best restaurant in town, the most friendly staff you'll encounter. Esperanza is the best she works so hard to deliver the best Mexican cuisine in town! Drop into the basement to get away from the tourists!

Super delicious food, especially the mole and tomatillo salsa. Plus we had the pleasure of being served by Esperanza which made the experience even better.

OMG the food in this restaurant was DELICIOUS, I had just gotten to Telluride and decided to have Mexican food, which I love, and it didnt dissapoint at all. And no only the food but the service (she was really nice and friendly) and the drinks were amazing too. I had enchiladas poblanas with chicken and piña colada to drink. The price is right for what they offer. Recommend 100%

We had a great time. Food and margaritas were both delicious. Spoke with Esperanza for a few minutes and you could tell right away that she is passionate about the quality of the food. I wish that we had a Mexican place this good in Denver.

Excellent and authentic food. The mole is great along with the chipotle enchiladas. Tequila is the name of the game here too.
