Trail Rider Pizza

Stopped on for lunch after the pumpkin patch in October. The staff was great and the food was fantastic. Nice clean place with cool art on the walls and nice atmosphere. Always glad to support local businesses who put forth effort and really care about their customers.

Good pizza, and the beer was cold. All the staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is laid back. There are lots of options for a good meal. Good beer and win selection as well as standard nonalcoholic options.

Delicious vegan pizza!!! 😍 Plant based protein options (AND yummy ranch). This was my first time at the new location and it was so nice sitting out on the patio with a beautiful view! I will definitely be back next time I'm traveling thru NM. Highly recommend. Great spot, great people 💜🍕

This was our second time here trying their vegan items and it was an even better experience than last time! Our server (I think their name was Tenaya) was absolutely amazing! They were very helpful with choosing what to try and just so enjoyable to chat with. I also loved that they asked if we were vegan before telling us the specials for the day. We got the vegan green chilli cheese bread (size of a 12" pizza so just be aware), vegan focaccia grilled cheese, and vegan cheeseburger pickle pizza (SO GOOD). They have a little baked goods section that is mostly vegan too! The vibe inside is also really fun! Can't recommend enough!

Great local spot for homemade pizza, salads and sandwiches. They make basically everything on the menu from scratch. Very accommodating with food allergies! Tons of gluten free and vegan options. 😍 Ashlea was so sweet and accommodating. Went out of her way for us! We will be back!

I've known the GM/Executive chef here at Trail Rider for years. Wherever he works, I follow him. Whatever the kitchen, whatever the style, whatever the trademark, that business will benefit from his uncompromising quality and unending creativity. The hallmark of this establishment, Pizza, is superb and fresh as can be. The salads, subs, appetizers (most especially the loaded basket of fries) are par excellance. The desserts here are enticing enough that I took one of each home. Beyond the kitchen, the foundation for the atmosphere is built when you walk through the door being greeted with a "welcome home." I can't wait to come back for the specials, considering today was a focaccia burger and shrimp po-boy, no telling what the future holds in store. Best addition to Cedar Crest yet!

Food was okay, pizza wasn't cooked completely, sent it back and they finished cooking it. The sandwich and fries were delicious

This is literally the best pizza in New Mexico. The sauce is so savory and filled perfectly in the pizza. The toppings are so fresh, and I usually don’t like sausage but trail riders makes the best sausage ever. The wings are literally the best I’ve ever had, they are absolutely perfect with the best homemade ranch. Couldn’t recommend more.

Excellent pizza and other entreé menu options. Service was most excellent. Our server helped set up settings for 12 people! She took our orders and checked on our needs during our meal. Pizza was delivered hot and tasty, as well as, other menu options selected. Wings were very tasty! The place to go for pizza when visiting Cedar Crest or Sandia!!

Love LOVE this place! Food is amazing and fresh. Service is stellar and I love the vibe of the place. Fast service for great food. Had the green chile bread and meat lovers small pizza. Both amazing.

Great meal, I had the vegan Enlightenment Burger, fresh greens, and mushrooms on in-house baked focaccia. French fries were hand cut. I would definitely order this again

Best vegan pizza I have had. We drive a ways to get here when we want pizza! Actually i recently had a meat pizza here and it was also very good. Very friendly, helpful service.

Was excited to see a good variety of items on the menu. I expected only pizza options, but there were a lot of other food options. Our meal was yummy! Staff was excellent! We will definately be again.

I have been coming to Trail Rider for a few years now and it never disappoints. They make excellent vegan and non vegan options. The cauli wings are so good along with their homemade seitan. My wife loves the regular wings and sandwiches.

It’s definitely not the most affordable place; however, supporting Trail Rider to stay open a serve is worth it. I can see how some might think this is a negative.

Fantastic pizza! Truly some of the best we've had in all of New Mexico, and we've been to quite a few places. We also tried the garlic knots and they were delicious as well. Good local beers on tap too!

Great service! Great quality! We had Calzones and Loaded Fries. Both are great value, but the fries especially were much more satisfying than we were expecting! Don't miss those!

Trail Rider's vegan options are fantastic! I'm so glad there's a restaurant here in the East Mountains that offers delicious plant-based meats and cheeses on its pizzas, sandwiches, appetizers, and calzones. There's so much for a vegan to choose from, and all of it is wonderful!

We met a couple friends from Santa Fe here last night. It's Balloon Fieata AND the start of Fall break. The one dude working was swamped with a full house and a bunch of seemingly large pickup orders. He took care of the whole thing with a smile. I can only imagine the cook in the back was working their butt off. Food was all good, but the pizza was a highlight. Lots of really good toppings and tasty crust. Easy recommend.

First time in Albuquerque and was craving some pizza and needed vegan options. Did a Google search and Trail Rider Pizza was close to our RV park and had vegan options so we tried it out. We are SOOOOO glad we found this place. It was DELICIOUS!! Not everyone is vegan and they too loved their food. One had the Taos pizza, one had pepperoni and mushrooms pizza. They both raved about their pies. I had the vegan calazone with sun dried tomatoes and grilled onions. It was fantastic! We all also had a side salad which was fresh and tasty. We will definitely come back if we ever come back to Albuquerque!! Definitely recommend this place!!

We were traveling the Turquoise Trail and started off here to get fueled up for the day. No inside seating yet due to CoVid but we were able to eat at the outside tables. We ordered a 16” with pepperoni & sausage (large enough we’d have some to take home), a sea salt brownie and walnut chocolate chip cookies. The pizza was AMAZING! I LOVE pizza and am really picky about it - and this stuff was the bomb! Great sauce! Great crust! The baked goods were yummy also. The staff was friendly and helpful also! Definitely check this place out. Wish I could give it 10 stars!

I typically hate leftover pizza but this warmed up great in the oven and was still delicious!
