Countryside Veterinary Clinic: Dr. R.L. Massucco, Jr.

I've brought my cat here twice during an emergency, and they fit me into the schedule with zero questions asked & didn't price gouge me.
All the staff are incredibly sweet and caring. I've moved twice and I still make the hour+ drive because I couldn't imagine bringing my cat anywhere else.

Outstanding. Dr. Massucco is amazing.
Only downside is a few times I had to leave a message regarding my pup; staff failed to respond.

Dr Sykes took such good care of my very sick Cleo. He is awesome the best vet. Because of him I have my little girl.

All of the vets here are very good and very caring. They are also reasonable with costs compared to some other local vets. We switched to countryside ~10 years ago after another local vet said they would need to pull most of our cat's teeth and it was going to be $1k+ and he'd need special food his whole life, so we got a second opinion and countryside took a closer look and only 1 tooth needed to go, and he lived another 9 years (to 19) happily. They are very good and patient with our anxious dogs as well.

I've been taking my puppy here for a few months - all the staff are very caring and helpful, doctor is very knowledgeable and good with my dog. Prices are reasonable compared to other vets I've been to. Can't reccomend enough.

Dr M. Was very caring and informative about our dogs problems. He made us feel at ease. I have recommended him to friends and will continue to do so.

Thank god I found this vet!! My 7 month old female had a uterine infection, long story short she almost passed away due to how bad it was and the amount every other vet needed for her procedure!! Ever other vet was either too expensive or to scared to do her surgery. This place is the best around!!!! I will continue to bring all my cats here

Countryside has been a care provider for us for over ten years. They saved our dog when another vet we saw in an emergency told us there would be thousands of dollars of surgeries. We took him to Countryside as our regular vet thinking we were going to have to put him down and they worked with us to explore options. The options gave our dog another three years of life without breaking the bank! Their care made sense and was reasonable for an old dog, as well. Their approach was less taxing on the dog overall and saved his life.

We now have a new pup in our lives and they’ve been amazing with him, too. Staff are caring, kind, helpful, and our dog is their priority. When he was neutered, they called to update right away once he was out of surgery so we didn’t just worry and wonder all day. That was unexpected and so thoughtful!

We recommend everyone we know to Countryside!

We've been taking our large breed dogs to Dr. M. For many years. We are very comfortable with how they work with our animals, often > 100lbs. Have had wonderful experience over the years.

Our old girl Boots was a patient of Dr. Cygan for her entire 18 year life, and Dr. Cygan was right there when we had to say goodbye to her.
Now we have a new baby boy Silas, and he was just seen by Dr. Sykes who was unbelievable wonderful with him, despite the fact that Silas is afraid of men.
Thank you to all of the staff here, you truly make a difference.

A vary positive experience taking our dog there.

Just a shout out to a great veterinarian…believe it or not, not all veterinarians like animals. Dr. Masucco is one that does genuinely. He always greets the human client and the animal client warmly. Recently I had my German shepherd puppy spayed. I was reluctant for her to have the surgery but he carefully explained the procedure. He went above and beyond during the surgery when he repaired the hernia that she was born with and hadn’t completely resolved. In addition he doesn’t overcharge. I recommend him highly.

Excellent. I can't believe how much money I saved the first time I went to Countryside. It was over $1000 . I would recommend this vet .They are extremely honest and they treat the patient as for what is really needed. Not like other vets that over medicate and out for your money.

We have driven out of the way for years in order to bring our pets to Countryside Vet. Dr. Sykes, in particular, did an amazing job caring for both our elderly dogs. He helped us make their last few years as comfortable as possible with such thorough care and genuine compassion.

Thank you soooo much for taking such good care of Annie. She's happy to be home, and my family is soooo thankful she's on the mend. We love our lads. Thanks to your team, her brother has his sister back. My husband and I can't thank you enough. You saved her life.

I just wanted to say that we have been really happy with the care our pets have received from Countryside. All of their vets are courteous, thorough and kind. In particular, Dr. Sykes has been excellent. He saved my 16 year old cats life last summer when he was really sick and we weren't sure what was causing the illness. He still continues to do well till this day thanks to the care he received from Dr. Sykes. He's always very enthusiastic and thorough, but also understanding and kind. Keep up the great work :)

Very enjoyable experience whenever we bring our pets in. Dr Massucco and his colleagues are very upbeat and caring. Our dogs have dealt with some weird problems and we have never felt judged or ridiculed. It’s incredibly affordable too!
