Lumpkin Restaurant & Motel

We did not stay at the hotel. We ate at the restaurant and it was delicious! The Open Face Roast Beef with Gravy was excellent. All the homemade pies were amazing!

Delicious food and super friendly efficient staff. My favorite thing here is the warmed homemade cinnamon roll! Can't beat the cleanliness and service. Second time just as wonderful and welcoming as the first

Nice atmosphere. The food was good.I had pancakes and they were delicious. The portions could be alittle bigger,but all in all the breakfast was very good.

I've never stayed at the motel, so I can't rate that, but I have really enjoyed their breakfasts! Under new ownership! Nice renovations on the bathroom!

Very nice restaurant good food. Both dinner and breakfast very nice employees, and I must add all the locals love this place. The locals are all very nice and happy to answer any questions you may have, and have no problem at all to carry a conversation with you. GREAT PLACE, GREAT STAFF AND GREAT PATRONS

I don't even know where to start, other than LOVE THIS PLACE. The food is fantastic and the service is phenomenal. Even if you think you are too full for dessert, you're not. DO IT. This place felt like HOME for me and my family.

Great place! There's always a traffic jam at the door to the restaurant. Other than that, Lumpkin is a great little diner. Been there twice for breakfast. It's a convenient stop for me sometimes and I'm glad it's there.

Stopped by on my way somewhere else, the staff was very nice, the food arrived quickly and definitely had the home made feel, very clean, prices are wonderful, definitely stop by here!

Wendy, our waitress and the entire kitchen staff were wonderful. We stopped in and had lunch and the food was amazing and the desserts was THE BEST blackberry cobbler I have ever tested!! I will definitely return to Lumpkin's when ever I am in the area. There are really no words to describe how enjoyable the meal was as well as how delightful and homey atmosphere is. Wendy and the kitchen staff are just truly wonderful, thank you all, my entire family walked away full and very pleased with the whole experience.

There's no better place for breakfast. They got awesome home fries all you need to go with it is some country ham with brown beans and a tall boy! Been going there for 20 years and order the same thing for breakfast every time. :-) love it

I think this place is great. Food is very good and the prices can;t be beat. Great Breakfasts, great chicken salad sandwich for luch and Fried Scallop dinner for under $10. Friendly service, nice clean atmosphere, good food, good prices, so what more could you ask for?

THE Scottsville dining experience. A longstanding fixture of the community, it has outlasted all other restaurants in town. I don't think the menu has changed in 20 years, but the food good, the prices are cheap, at the atmosphere is perfect for a small town diner. I wouldn't have it any other way.

I absolutely love Lumpkin's!!! Homemade, delicious comfort food in a comfy atmosphere with awesome service from friendly, personable people. Did I mention they've got the best prices?? If you haven't been to Lumpkin's, you're missing out on an incredible place!!

Not exactly healthy but absolutely delicious. We prefer dinner to breakfast but most everything is good here. Their homemade rolls and chopped sirloin is amazing.

First time eating at lumpkins since new owners... Omy gosh it was so good..we just got lunch..but the cheese burger and hotdogs were the best around..thanks we'll be back soon

I get to go here once a year on my annual camping trip. The food is fantastic, the service is excellent and the prices are extremely reasonable. You won't be disappointed.

Best HomeTown breakfast in Scottsville and surrounding area I drive from Charlottesville just to get the home fries only open on Saturday mornings for me wish you was open on Sundays.. they got to have a day off..lol

Lunch was very good and the service was friendly.
