Dogwood Restaurant @ Lake Monticello

Really surprised with the quality and service. We went apple picking and wanted a place for lunch and this place had great reviews. When we got there the inside is nothing impressive but the waitress was super friendly. I ordered a buffalo wrap and fries and my wife got a california club. Both were surprisingly better than anticipated. My wife commented several time how good here was and mine is just a usual bar food wrap but for some reason it tasted much better. If we are in the area again I would definitely go back.

Food is always consistently good and Hannah is such a fantastic server/bartender. She knows us by name, has such a fun personality, and never leaves us unattended! We look forward to going in when we know she’s there because we know we will have good food and good service.

Variety of items on the menu. Everyone in my party enjoyed their meal. Well prepared, plated beautifully, and nice portions. Wait staff attentive without being bothersome. Prices very reasonable. Will absolutely go there again.

We come here two or three times a week for the last two years. Place is great. Food is always good. Excellent specials with great daily variety. Service is good and prices are reasonable. Couldn't ask for anything more.

We eat lunch here frequently and they're usually very busy. The specials are dynamic and always delicious. Friendly staff and a cozy environment. Salad bar packs a lot of goodness in a small package

Friendly staff and yummy food. My family and I really enjoyed ourselves! The server was so kind and helpful even after we were finished and continued to catch up with each other.

Had a birthday party for several family members. The staff could not have been more accommodating. Good food at a decent price. Pretty good selection too.

I love this restaurant, it's great, the wait staff very friendly, DC the chef is fab, wish I could bring him home with me lol. The prices are very reasonable. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant.

I cams here for breakfast and what a nice experience I had. Real talk, mad descent breakfast wrap with a descent price. Like $5 for a wrap and soda. If I'm ever in the area again, there is a good chance I'd stop by here again.

I've been coming to the dogwood since my parents brought me as a child 15 years ago. I loved it then, and love it now. Whenever I go back to my home town I always come here. It's all good at the Dogwood:)

Good american style food. There are not a lot of options in this area but this is one of the go to spots. The bar side is laid back, fun, and there is usually an evening event. The food is pretty good, reasonably priced, and the specials are always creative. There are always a few good microbrews on tap and the PBR is priced right.

The Club Wrap and the Monticello Chicken Sandwiches was great. Mike and Dana make great food. Definitely missing the salad bar. I always like to say hi to Mike and Dana every time I come in.

Brunch was delicious! Quiche, fresh fruit cup and side salad were very tasty. Great service. Good price for what we received!

I and my husband has been there about 4 time's. The service was great and the food is cooked fresh and Good timing. Very clean,,, the women's bathroom kinda cool.

We take our 18 month old granddaughter here just about every Wednesday. Yesterday I had a ham and cheese omlet with the country potatoes and corn beef hash. It was delicious! See you next week!

I come here a couple times year and always have a good time with good food. The staff is very friendly and we never have to wait long for our food. I certainly recommend if you are in the area

I’m a HUGE fan of The Dogwood!! Even after being employed there (I left on good terms) I can honestly say this restaurant is clean, and the owners are amazing!!! Great people all around!!! Try the Lobster Bisque!! I LOVE it!!!

Tuesday night is Taco Night. Everything taco on special makes it a great family night. But we had grilled salmon and a steak and blue cheese salad. So yummmmmm

I have had quite a few appetizers, sandwiches and entrees here and everything has been delicious! On top of that the staff was very friendly and eager to help...

Absolutely the best Reuben I have ever eaten!!! The salad bar is outstanding!!! Service is always the best!!! Try it. You will not be dissapointed. I promise!!!!
