Advanced Dermatology: Nanda Vandana S MD

My first MOHS surgery at this practice was in 2008. I'm only reviewing it now because reviewing was not something I did back then and recent surgery made me want to do so.

The minute I met Dr. Nanda Vandana I knew I was in good hands. Both surgeries, all the while she worked she radiated a deep ease, authentic warmth, and much compassion. To boot, she has a sense of humor. But this gifted surgeon spends way more of her time focused on her task, and thanks to this I've no doubt I'm not the only one who has been permanently rid of a skin cancer. In addition, Dr. Nanda Vandana does everything she can to minimize scarring, or making our scars align well with our faces (and bodies), without neglecting the more critical task of eliminating our cancers so that they don't return.

Today was my first visit with Dr. Nanda. I was told on the phone to come prepared for Mohs surgery. Thankfully, I didn’t need that procedure today. Dr. Nanda was very efficient and detailed in the treatment plan. I am pleased with my visit. Everyone at this practice was very proficient, friendly and helpful.

This was my first experience in having to have surgery on my skin due to a basal cell skin cancer. The front desk staff were all professional, efficient and KIND. I loved Dr. Nanda… she explained everything to me before and during the procedure. Because of the location of the tumor, they arranged to have a cosmetic surgery specialist to close the area. Dr. Oyer and the nurse, Mitzi, made me feel very comfortable during surgery, and did a wonderful job.
The entire experience was very positive!

Dr. Nanda has performed 3 procedures on me in recent years. The most recent was 3.30.21. I do not typically write reviews but because Dr. Nanda, Kristin, Heather & Danielle have been so great to me each and every time I wanted to sing their praises. My procedures have been on my face & neck. Minor if any scars are apparent! Recovery has been timely & painless. The responsiveness to my inquiries or even setting up an appointment after I get the results to a biopsy has been amazing. Typically in with Dr. Nanda in a week. We all have a certain amount of angst as we are preparing for these procedures. At least I do! From the moment I walk in I am treated as a valued individual. Information and guidance is always provided. Details about the procedure readily shared along with reliable information to all of my questions. At the end of the day I believe we always hope that our providers will listen to us, without distraction providing a certain amount of assurance that all will be right again. That is what my experience has been with Dr. Nanda, Kristin, Heather and Danielle every time! In the event I will need another procedure there is no doubt that I will be contacting Dr. Nanda!!

I loved Dr. Nanda. We immediately made a personal connection. She and all of the nurses gave detailed explanations and treated me with gentle expertise.

A positively amazing experience! Staff treatment was exceptional and the results of surgery for removal of melanoma left no visible scar on my face a year later!

Came home with a big hole in my leg and was miss informed about the moh surgery!!! Dr. Was rude and raised her voice multiple times with me , one was for wearing the wrong clothing that i was not told what to wear by the staff ! (Sorry) !!!
