The Market at Wintergreen Resort

Cute little market store with a little of everything. We stopped because we needed ice but ended up buying a few other items. The wine selection looked very good but we brought our own alcoholic beverages with us so didn’t need to buy any. They had condiments, chips & salsa, pizza, soft drinks, ice cream, juices, and much more. A great place for anything you might have forgotten or are just craving!

Loved everything about the Market from the super friendly staff to the music and the delicious food. If you can score the little window seat by the deli--all the better. We went in multiple times for pastries for breakfast--the raspberry crumb cake. YUM Then lunch--bacon, brie and apple butter--a perfect fall treat, then back again for breakfast for the road the next day--fresh biscuits with egg, cheese and ham. I would skip the other property restaurants and eat here as much as possible. :-)

The fact that there isn’t a whole lot of options here. You will get a little of everything you may have forgotten. A little pricey. But the price you pay for convenience. They have a deli & hot food. Their pizza is really good. There is ice cream, grocery items, microwaveable dinners, a coffee station. If you don’t feel like going any further out of the mountains this will suffice.

The Hogwallow pizza is excellent (recommend adding sausage). Thick doughy pizza with crispy under carriage. Excellent.

Funny story. We came to this market on our first visit to Wintergreen Resort, having forgotten my husband's favorite gluten free Rudi bread from home. We literally brought everything else but that. As we walked in, we smelled glorious pizza (see previous reviews), but instead we were there for a few other doo dads.

My husband's sunglasses had literally broken right before we rolled up. They had sunglasses there.

They also sold monster ice cream sandwiches.

And when I asked my husband if he saw anything, he was like, "There's no way there gonna have... Wait!" And there it was.... Right in the freezer. What are the odds? What corner market carries Rudi's gluten free bread?

Great vibes. Good music. Nice little market. Highly recommend. And if you forget your gluten free bread at home or break your sunglasses, they've got you covered.

Pizza was thick and delicious! Wish I could find pizza like this more often!

Stopped by after a wonderful day on the Mountain and Daniel made us this Awesome Pizza... It was Amazingly Yummy!!!

Great little shop, deli, and gas station. Sounds like previous reviewers were spoiled city folk! Had more than enough options, friendly service and delicious, made-to-order pizza! Awesome selection of wine and craft beer too.

With the sadness of everything being closed, the Market at Wintergreen has done an amazing job of filling a lot of gaps. Their smoked dinners have been award winning quality. Seriously excellent. Mostly it’s been the careful staff that deserve a big thanks. Wearing masks ,very polite, the Market has earned a 5 star review.

We ordered the Cinco deMayo dinner for pick up last night which was our first experience with the market. The food was outstanding and very generous. However there was a glitch in our order but thanks to Chris McWorte, chef and I believe manager, the problem was solved quickly and efficiently. He could not have been more accommodating or polite and went above and beyond to satisfy us. He is definitely an asset to Wintergreen and we will definitely go back to order food in the future. Hats off to Chris and a big thank you!

Dont judge this place by the looks of it. The Hog Wallow pizza has so much flavor in 1bite i will make a day trip to bring my princess to try this pizza

Nice place to shop, fuel up your tank, deli with pizza, sandwiches, and a seating area.

If you like a good pizza....their upgrade is amazing. They even deliver! Not your typical gas station pizza. Puts other "NY" style pies to shame.

Large variety and stocks everything you need in a pinch.

What a gem!! They had basically everything you could want! I was looking for some bug bite cream (and something to take the swelling down) and the owner helped me find exactly what I needed ... even opening products to see if they worked!! Now that’s customer service!! Great place!!💞
