Paula Ann Ruel

Dr. Ruel was a great find after many vets. She never sells services and always provides options and recommendations.
Her fees are also quite reasonable.

Dr Paula is amazing! I gave her a call and she was able to accommodate us quickly. Our boy had aggressive cancer and was suffering. She is so compassionate, we have never been through the process before and she guided us through. Our fur baby took to her right away and went so peacefully with her gentle kindness. We will forever be grateful for her soft kind manner through the most heartbreaking moment of our family.

Dr Paula is fantastic she is caring and compassionate, we had to put our 17 year old dog down. This was heartbreaking, she took her time walked us thru everything. She came right to my house so my baby would be more comfortable. She took care of everything, guided us thru the next steps. My baby transitioned while I held her in my arms and went to sleep knowing her mommy was was with her. I could not have asked for a more caring person to help my baby transition to the rainbow bridge. The kicker is she was not even my vet. When I called my vet on a Friday they said you can bring her now or wait for Monday. There was no compassion at alll. My niece recommend Dr Paula and I am glad she did..

Dr. Ruel is the most compassionate veterinarian that we have had. I called her when my 12 year old husky was suffering with arthritis and was unable to climb into our vehicle. She came to our home and prescribed medication that lessened his discomfort. Most recently we needed to put him down. She again came to the home and helped us through the difficult process. My husband and I were greatful that she made everything less stressful for our sweet boy. I am so thankful to Dr. Ruel. When the time comes that we are ready to add a new pup to the family we will definitely call her.

Dr.Ruel helped our 14 year old dog go over the rainbow bridge. She was so kind and compassionate and really put us at ease at such a difficult time. Thank you Dr. Ruel

I am sitting on my couch on and off crying about 3 hours after Dr Ruel left with our beloved boy. This was the first time we’ve ever had to do this. We got lucky to have dr Ruel come. She is compassionate, empathetic, smart and reassuring. We could not have had a worse experience be so peaceful. She is amazing. We can’t thank her enough for coming out to help is with our boy. We had to put our 16 year old pup down during quarantine and we found Paula she was OUTSTANDING! Drove out of her “usual customer distance” (about 45 min-hour away) to help us out. Our vet/ 3 others near our house would only allow one person inside to put the dog down we did NOT want that we wanted to all be there for our boy. Then I found Paula who came to our house we’re he was comfortable in we were all surrounding him with all his toys and it was beautiful, unlike a clinic vet we’re your in a cold room on a cold floor/table. She gave us the time and space we needed before and after and even helped us and drove him to get him cremated. She went above and beyond for someone who isn’t her client and we are forever greatful. Thank you so much Paula. When we get out next dog you will absolutely be the person we call for any needs!

Emergency visit- saw my cat immediately; examined her, gave her medicine, getting lab results later today, script for special diet, educated me for care of my sick cat...the best vet I have ever had. Dr Ruel has cared for my cats for more than 20 years, from new kittens, to end of long lives. She is a wonderful vet!

Dr. Ruel is amazing. She truly cares about animals and their owners. She provided excellent and compassionate end of life care for my chocolate lab. I cannot thank her enough.

Dr. Ruell was able to come on short notice to facilitate the passing of our aged and beloved dog. She was capable and compassionate explaining how it worked and what to expect. Thank you.

Amazing very! Easy to reach and talk to, even when you're paranoid and being a worrywart over every issue ever lol. I love her, And so does my 14 year old kitty!

Amazing ! I would recommend Paula to anyone looking for a new vet. She gave me more information about my dog in 20 minutes than my old vet did in the 12 years I was going to her.
