Amazing and absolutely surprised to have a wonderful meal. We had the calamari excellent, we tried the Margherita pizza with cauliflower crust, taking half home it was great, Pan seared trout and risotto as well as the herb crusted salmon amazing, followed by the made in house key lime pie and a warm apple crumble which my wife loved… we are both very happy with our choices our compliments to the cooking staff and server Deb…

Wonderful service and good food in the renovated Dan River Mills factory building. Chic decor and cool vintage advertisements! Plus some nice vegetarian options.

The salmon was done so well and the spicy sauce really brought in flavor! The ambiance is very calm and soothing. Will definitely be coming back!

Seating seven of us was easy with reservations. We quickly flooded the table with appetizers: truffle fries, brazed Brussels sprouts and spinach artichoke dip. All three were amazing.

Entrees we’re varied from spicy sausage pasta to blackened mahi-mahi. One had a Marguerite pizza, another baked chicken, a wedge salad and a filet. All customers were pleased.

Visiting in town for graduation and we got a number one recommendation for this restaurant. I cannot begin to say how wonderful this place is especially our waitress Kim. She's friendly and lovely and an amazing server, so good we came back for a second night! Food is delicious and drinks are well priced. We love Kim and manager was very welcoming!!!!! Must visit.

My boyfriend surprised me with taking me here for our 2 year anniversary. The patio was closed, but inside was just as beautiful. It was a very nice and laid back atmosphere. We got the spinach and artichoke dip as an appetizer and the tobacco row burger for the meal. Both the appetizer and meal was amazing! Our waitress, Kim I believe her name was, was easily the best waitress I have ever had at any restaurant. I will recommend this place to anyone wanting a nice place to eat in Danville. We will definitely be back and hope to get patio seating when we do. I would give more stars if I could!

I just ate here a few days ago and loved the atmosphere and food. I was a little disappointed that they ran out of diet pepsi? But otherwise the food was delicious. I highly recommend the truffle french fries.

Cotton has great food. The drinks and food are both fun and delicious. I really enjoy the shrimp and grits, but also like the roasted chicken. Brussel sprouts appetizer is just right. Food comes out a little slow, but worth it.

It was surprise from my husband for our 20th anniversary. It was a very nice experience. They weren't seating on the patio but made sure we had a view of the Dan River.

Our waitress was super nice and checked on us a good amount. The food was really tasty and looked beautiful on the plate. We had the fried oysters for appetizers. I had the pan seared chicken with Bok Choi and risotto which my husband ate most of. 🤣 He had the filet that came with asparagus and fingerling potatoes.

They had a huge amount of beer and drink options. We will be revisiting.

We went for a friend’s birthday and were soooo pleased with our experience. Between my husband and I, everything we had was delicious. We got:
Brussel sprouts
Pizza
Shrimp & grits
Spicy sausage pasta

10/10 recommend and will be back. The staff was amazing and the atmosphere was so cozy.

I enjoyed my dining experience at cotton restaurant. Food was hot and fresh out the kitchen. I ordered the shrimp and grits. It's a little spicy because of the sausage. Very delicious.

Always enjoy eating here for special occasions and as a family night alike! The view is spectacular on the patio, but the industrial decor inside is a nice atmosphere also. The food is amazing, and the salmon and corn risotto is a personal favorite, however the steaks are also great. If you like appetizers, try the truffle fries (ask for the champagne vinegrette for a dipping sauce, trust me!) The key lime pie is big enough to split, but I recommend it, its devine!

What a great little place tucked away! A wife variety of food options, but not too many. Great selection of drinks, and the warm apple crisp dessert is worth the trip alone!

Came in at closing and experienced great service. Food was exceptional 👌 The waiter was on point. I will recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great food and service all in one. Prices reflect the quality of food and service you're looking for.

Food is different and eclectic. Combination of flavors are anything but bland. Beautiful atmosphere and great waitress. We will be back.~ 2 years later, this is still one of our favorite places to eat!

Driving through with my son and wanted to eat local. Had the shrimp and grits . Outstanding! Highly recommend

One of the better meals that we've had in a long while. I had a special for the night- gnocchi with a slightly sweet corn puree, hazelnuts, and caramelized onions. The gnocchi had a nice brown crisp on the outside and was soft on the inside. So, so good. The other order was a bacon cheeseburger and fries with a local wine.
Price was reasonable for 2 on a Friday night and it wasn't busy. Our server was knowledgeable and kind. Outdoor seating by the river.
We'll be back!

Decided to come to Daniville since Ive never been to this area of Virginia. Pleasantly surprised....the atmosphere was great. I had a table overlooking the water on the patio. Most of the food was great...I'm from South Carolina and had to add more sugar and lemon juice to my Arnold Palmer. So grateful they could accommodate my requests. The items I wanted were no longer on the menu so I tried other items. It was ok, but I'm not holding it against them. I would definitely come back if I'm in the area.
