Beehive Restaurant

We had such a great time and the food was the delicious! The service was also phenomenal! The only thing I suggest is that you plan ahead for parking (which we did not) and even though we were extremely late for our reservation, the staff at Beehive were still super accommodating and welcoming! Can’t wait to go back! I had the Queen Bee cocktail which was supreme, highly recommend it!

The Beehive is such a unique restaurant in the South End. The food, on top of the restaurant's decor, is just as good.

We started with the ribs which were generously glazed. That sauce is SOMETHING! I caught myself trying to get some in on every bite.

I got the butternut squash risotto which was good for a vegetarian option. Generous portion and a great balance of squash and cheese.
My partner got the mussels with frites & bread. Some of the softest, juciest mussels I've had (with no salty odor)! The fries are cut and fried with a more home-made feel, which brought me back to my childhood. A little greasy, as expected. Food came out quick and hot.

Drinks were good, I got the La Cosmica which caters to mezcal lovers. My partner always orders some tongue-twister of a drink and they perfectly made it.

Hard to find this place if you're not paying attention but the inside is like a whole different world with the New Orleans influence. The ambience is lively even during the less crowded hours. Usually there's live music depending on what night you come. Definitely deserves a revisit!

Thought this might be a fun place to try for dinner. The area was still all decorated with Pride flags as they had the parade there that afternoon. Older building where we were taken down to the basement for our table. Adrienne was our server and she was fantastic. Friendly and efficient. The food came out quick and hot. Drinks were wonderful as she made sure our old fashions were just right. If we could only have stayed longer they had entertainment later that night. Fun decor and definitely worth the trip to that area.

What a dining experience. We must get back 1 day. Staff very friendly the BBQ ribs starter was the best ever tasted. For mains there was salmon , beef and crab dish and all of the highest standard. Music in the background making the perfect atmosphere

Great brunch with indoor and outdoor seating. The American breakfast was very good all-around, especially the eggs and the Eggs Benedict with salmon was tasty as well. The restaurant is large inside so next time I am around the area I will try dinig inside for dinner.

I ate at this fun and lively restaurant recently, and it certainly lived up to the positive reviews. I had the butternut squash risotto which was spectacular and had such a vibrant flavor. There was love music, jazz, which was fun and loud but not too loud. It was upbeat and a great way to brighten up winter. The bartender was so friendly and explained the drinks which I find unusual in Boston. I had a Queen Bee cocktail which if you love grapefruit like me, is such a treasure to find.

Amazing live music spot! Great drinks as well. Some of the entrees were hit or miss for me, but I think the ambiance more than makes up for it. Try to get in a little early if you want to watch the show. I think the later you come in, the worse seats you get.

It’s the spot! Live music with phenomenal food, there’s no better thing than this! The bathroom is really clean and the mirrors are very huge.
My favorite food options are the baby short pork ribs and butternut squash risotto.
Overall an exceptional experience!

Nice spot for Sunday brunch. Had the salmon salad as an appetizer followed by the corned beef hash for main course. Also sipped on a few espresso martinis. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive.

Fantastic ambiance, I didn’t even know we had places like this in Boston, honestly feels more like it belongs in NYC. This bar/restaurant is beautiful and the live jazz they had was fantastic. Food prices are a little bit much but to be expected for a place like this in the middle of the city. I had one cocktail that was great, and while the beer selection is a little bit limited what they do have are all great picks.

Amazing vibes!!!!! The vibe music and ambient atmosphere was absolutely amazing! The food itself was not much different than any other brunch place, but the atmosphere makes up for it.

Martín was a great waiter. Food was great. I plan on going back for the 10 PM live entertainment. Can’t wait! See you there

Awesome burger and cocktail, on a packed but nice patio. Service was solid and super friendly.

Nice cozy place! For food we ordered truffle fried cauliflower, rich in flavour, we also ordered salmon and it was well grilled, the sauce is well flavored which really brings out the salmon! Drink is also very good! Highly recommended the Extra Fabulous, it has baileys inside and tasted like a dessert! Also the live band is really nice. Love the atmosphere here!

great service every worker was on their A game, looking around their tables and grabbing or cleaning tables as needed. i also saw staff were looking out for guests' well-beings. the food was definitely amazing and hit all marks. but the vibe was a bit confusing. It was obviously a restaurant as well as a bar downstairs, but it definitely gets crowded the later you go! i just watched people pile up downstairs to outside while i was sitting down eating it was pretty loud after a point. everyone felt so packed in! still an amazing spot.

One of the coolest spots in Boston. Also caught Bruce Bears & Friends. Those dudes groove. Coolest show I've seen in a while.

The restaurant is a dope little jazz spot. One upper bar with a projector showing a movie then a lower space with a stage, dining area , and A SECOND BAR. THAT'S RIGHT PEOPLE.

Tonight my coworkers and I had dinner at Beehive. The food is phenomenal, but our waitress was the real treat. Andrea was personable, friendly, and a joy to have!

Stumbled upon The Beehive on a Monday afternoon while walking the neighborhood. Absolutely loved our time there! We sat at the bar, and Laura was our bartender, and she was phenomenal! Garlic chili wings were some of the best ever. Fabulous drinks, great food, incredible atmosphere… We would definitely go back the next time we’re in Boston! The downstairs where they have live music was so cool we wish we were there on a weekend evening.

We dine on a Friday evening. This was our first time visiting Beehive. It did not disappoint at all. The cooking one everything was on point.

We tried the Fall-off-the-Bone baby back ribs as the appetizer. You don't need any utensils to eat the meat like it is butter. Super nice glaze. Delicious.

My grilled swordfish was moist and excellently seasoned. That is a hard fish to grill, a few seconds too long on the grill and it turns chewy. This was perfect.

My daughter ordered the Burger. Holy Cow! Delicious, juicy, great bite.

And my wife ordered one of the best-cooked salmons I've ever had. The seasoning was dark and crusty while the inside was pink and buttery.

The atmosphere was loud but that's why you go there for. Our server accommodated our requests expediently. We got seated on two round tables. I wish they had put us on a four seat table since we made reservations way in advance. But the service and the food made up for that note.

I do recommend the place and we will be back.

Great live jazz brunch! The vegetable and cheese frittata and chicken wings were fantastic! Burger looked good too. The coffee cake is a hidden gem! Fantastic!
