The Wine Emporium

Boston’s largest wine cellar. Incredible selection. Jenn, the manager and wine buyer, is so knowledgeable and kind. I don’t trust anyone else to suggest wine for me. Every suggestion of hers is pure gold. Won’t shop for wine anywhere else in the city 💕

I love the wine emporium on Tremont! The wine cellar is so well stocked and amazing! I especially love the wine buyer, Jenn. She is an absolute gem and has the best recommendations! She makes the store what it is!

Friendly staff and great prices!

Over the last year the place has improved tremendously - clearly the new management is making a huge difference along with the team members they have added! The selection is incredible across the board - whether you are looking for wine (available in the sizable wine cellar downstairs), liquor, or beer, odds are they have something to satisfy your tastes! And if it isn't in stock, the team is super helpful with suggestions for alternatives or there's a form on their website that provides the ability to request an item.

I live in the neighborhood and have for quite some time. This store has changed and has changed for the better! Apparently they have been under new management for about a year AND IT SHOWS. The whole vibe of the store is just cooler. The selection of everything is abundant and there is always someone working that is engaging and wanting to help you find what you are looking for. LOVE THIS PLACE!

Great selection of beers, local and imported and a walk in beer cooler. I always find something new and interesting. Probably one of the larger wine cellars around with great recommendations posted on notes all around. Haven't steered me wrong yet, they were also the first place turn me onto Titos vodka which is now my goto for bloody Marys. They have liquor, ice, plenty of mixers for cocktails and even cigars.

There has ever been a time that I went into the emporium and walked out with a bad experience. There is a gentlemen in there he assist with your items even if he is sticking shelves. The wine section is off the hook. Overall it is a great experience Everytime.

Great local place!

Great beer & wine selection! Price is what you'd expect given the location; a bit steep but not completely unreasonable. Has one of the best selections you'll find anywhere in Boston (not named Craft Beer Cellar). Conveniently located 5-10 minute walk from Back Bay station.

Excellent selection of wines and super friendly staff. I was interested in a wine they didn't have and they offered to get it for me. They did. Tremont St location is also very convenient!

The store has a very convenient layout if you're just coming in to pick up something quick! Or if you prefer to browse there's a beautiful wine cellar.

Wide varieties of wines and liquor alcohol. The staff were happy to assist in any questions about the wines with wine tasting and suggestions. It was a nice experience. @DavidAndErikasTravels

Nice local liquor store. They have a great selection and some hard to get beers that you can't find in other spots around the South End.

Staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and Jon was so friendly and helped me sort through the vast amount of wines.

Decent wine and beer choice. Prices are very reasonable. Sellers are very knowledgeable and nice.
