Took about 4.5hrs for our group of 3, absolutely gorgeous! Definitely consider a good bit of this course as "rock climbing/navigating"

Really pretty spot that provides an access point for the AT. During this part of the year, the road is closed so you can wall up and down the Blue Ridge Parkway. On this visit, we ran across a geocaching game while on the trails and found out it has been there since our last visit. How cool.

This was a great location to have my car breakdown on the Blue Ridge Pkwy. A restroom would have been nice, but I nevertheless enjoyed the great view, the shady tree, and the picnic table.

If you ever read Terry Brooks "Magic Kingdom For Sale/Sold"... Mile marker 13 is right there at the Three Ridges Overlook.

The Appalichian Trail use to stay on the east side of the Blue Ridge Parkway. The ATC moved it when Wintergreen was developed in the 70's. You can make a 9 mile loop hike by hiking the old AT and connect to the AT at Dripping Rock... Awesome Hike....

Nice spot. Very relaxing. Me and my buddy shouted over the mountain tops and it echos lol Just be careful in winter. They close the road to get there down frequently
