If you’re thinking of going into Ocean Jewelers to sell your jewelry, here’s what you can expect. I was met with a silent glare. Just plain unfriendly! Remember when clerks used to greet you with “Hi!” or “May I help you?”. Nope, not here.
I asked the clerk how much he would give me for my bracelet. He responded with: “Do you have any other offers?” I said YES. Then he asked “How much?”. I said “No, you can just give me your best price!”
His response: “That’s not how it works!” and handed the bracelet back to me. At my next offer, my bracelet got me $600.
Don’t waste your time by going to Ocean Jewelers. Let’s hope they go out of business soon so the planet will be spared of their unkindness and inefficiency.
