Comfort Suites Sawgrass

Stayed here for 14 nights so I could quickly visit my mother undergoing surgery/recovery at Cleveland Clinic and had to keep extending my stay due to updates.

The room was super clean and housekeeping was very responsive to requests. Front desk was always a pleasant experience with knowledgeable, definite answers. I know volume is high for these departments and they don’t get enough thanks for the good work they do.

I have to give UNLIMITED kudos to a specific receptionist named Tish, who was very kind, answered every question I had, and always got my room extensions taken care of, even multiple times at max capacity! She is a QUEEN and the GOAT.

I was surprisingly pleased. During renovations my room was adequate. The cleaning staff made sure it was ready and I was happy with the results. All thanks I give to Cardi at the front desk for choosing such a comfortable room for us. Thank you Cardi !

Short Version: Ignore the bad reviews, In my personal experience, this is THE best hotel I've have stayed in Florida! 🤠

Long version: This is by far THE best hotel experience I've ever had! Located in Taramac, this hotel is not far from the Ft. Lauderdale area (about 30 minutes without tolls), and about 50 minutes from Miami / Miami INT'L area (without tolls). Even within a 5 miles radius, there are plenty of restaurants, shopping centers / plazas, and attractions to choose from! 🤠😎

From checking in, all the way to checking out the hotel, the staff was nothing but friendly and helpful! The key somehow became deactivated, and the lady at the front desk kindly reactivated them, and that was the only issue my uncle & I had!

The breakfast was very fresh, delicious, and hot! There is nice selection of light breakfast items to choose from, a large double-room dining area, and each one has a TV.

Even though I didn't use the pool I did see quite a few people out there so It must have been nice. It will say, it is an outside pool, and it looks like it fits about 10-12 (but don't quote me on that last part😅).

The rooms were VERY nice & comfortable! We thought we were only getting a regular double queen room, but ending up staying in a suite! The beds were nice, clean & comfortable! No sign of any incects, pest, or rodents!

The bathrooms were very nice & clean! Only little issue was the drain sink in the bathroom didn't fully work and you'd have to pull on it to get it to drain, but everything else worked fine!

The lot was and felt safe at night, not many strange looking activities going on.

I did find it interesting that the bathroom door seems to be thicker than the hotel room door, so if someone is in the hallway you'll heat them, but if you're in the shower you may or may not hear someone knocking on the door.

Overall this worth worth the stay!

Do not go over with what's the comments say, I just stay here 3 nights and I will again, very nice staff, clean rooms with generous amount of space, extra towels in the room and blankets! And they have a good breakfast. 🥞

The hotel was good and the suite I rented was quite clean and cozy. The place is a little far from beaches and other tourist attractions. There are all major eateries under 1 mile from this hotel.

Staff was VERY friendly I loved every second of dealing with any one of them. The rooms were clean had everything we needed in them the tv worked great and if we needed anything they were very quick to help us!

Excelent ubication if you goes to Fort Lauderdale and want to visit Beaches, Mall as Sawgrass and Miami.
When renew some things in the hotel World be better.

Relaxing 3 days spent here. Room was nice, clean & refreshing. Only way I'd not have given all 5 stars but I still will, the air conditioning unit was too noisy but you could turn it down though, also shower curtain needed to mount properly but besides that, great for the price & breakfast is served 7-10. Checkin was easy & fast, definitely will be staying here again 🤗

Needed a last minute hotel for 4th of July weekend because my AC decided to die at home. King suite was very clean. The staff was great. The pool area, gym, and laundry was clean and well kept. Overall great weekend experience.Breakfast was a great variety of hot and cold foods; waffle maker, eggs, pastries, bagels, yogurt and cereal.

Clean, comfy, roomy. We really liked the set up of the room, with the kitchenette area. The staff was great, very friendly and helpful. The strip by the hotel has food choices and gas stations near by. The lobby has a small selection of food and drinks you can buy. Which was better than vending machines. The showers were super hot. Best hot shower ever!!

Random info, the woman at the front desk working nights had her nails on point. I meant to tell her that. LoL.

Used this place for sport teams. Very clean and polite people.

Front desk really help me out getting into my room since I did show up early they made accommodations which I really do appreciate

We're in town visiting family and our needs are simple. Good bed for nightly rested sleep and a decent breakfast to start our busy day with the kids and grandkids. They delivered on both counts. Clean and tidy room, great bed and a hot breakfast in the morning. All well done.

Very clean and comfy hotel to stay at. The staff is wonderful, from the people at the check in counter to the cleaning staff. Everybody greeted us with a big smile and was always making sure we were happy with our stay. Would absolutely stay here again. Breakfast was great, had lots of choices and was always being replenished.

I love this hotel the service and staff is amazing. The rooms were clean and smelling great. The breakfast is delicious the supervisor shaniqua was very professional and Always nice . Even the housekeepers do a great job I recommend this hotel and i will be returning.

This place was outstanding the staff was very kind, the rooms were clean they brought you towels made the beds, your complimentary breakfast had sausages eggs waffles that you make yourself delicious, they had bagels Philadelphia cream cheese, oranges juices cereal

I arrived late after a LONGGGGG road trip. The hotel was nice but the 5 STAR 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟 attraction was the Front Desk Personnel Sharmayne.....she was extremely energetic, accommodating, and the epitome of what TRUE CUSTOMER SERVICE is!!! She a outstanding representative and really went above and beyond in conducting her duties.

We flew in from out of state for a friend's wedding and stayed at this Comfort Suites. The hotel was nice and only half of the price of what our friends paid 5 miles down the road. The hotel room was nice and spacious the breakfast was good and the beds were comfy.

Patricia our housekeeper was the most efficient and friendly lady ever. She always greeted us with a smile and a hello. Tiffany, the front desk clerk was also very nice and dealt with us in the most professional manner even though we may have been a headache at times. She was always ready to assist and definitely went above and beyond to make out stay better.
