Great guest experience here! The AC in our room wasn't working when we arrived, and the front desk staff was incredibly helpful and kind. They came to troubleshoot the AC unit immediately, and transferred us to a new room in a very reasonable amount of time when it was determined that it needed to be worked on.

Bottom line, it's easy to have a good experience when things go smoothly. And when things didn't go smoothly, the staff here nailed the response with empathy and professionalism. Thank you!

As for the rest, the hotel was clean, quiet, and the complimentary breakfast was good quality. I was able to walk everywhere I wanted to go and the train station is very close. There is valet parking, street parking, and a few overnight lots in walking distance for parking.

I know where I'll be staying next time I visit DC!

I totally enjoyed my stay there. The staff were all personable and helpful. The free breakfast was truly outstanding, when compared to the typical "continental breakfast" hotels provide. The Capitol is about a 1.2 mile "straight-shot" walk on North Capitol Street. The rooms and the hotel are beautiful. They have a well-equipped fitness room. In the neighborhood, there is a Mediterranean bowl place and a Moe's. A little further, there is a Trader Joe's.

Hyatt Place Washington suited us perfectly. Nice sized and clean room with a nice view towards Washington Monument. Excellent location both walking and by metro.
Good bed,it was very clean. Staff very friendly, especially a warm welcome from Neveah. I was allowed to check in 1 hour earlier as my room was already ready. She helped us very well and called after arrival to see if everything was as desired. I appreciate this a lot.

Breakfast was also reasonable. We spent 2 nice days with my daughter and wife at this hotel in Washington we liked it really. Thank you so much! 10/10

Over the past two months, we had the opportunity to stay at this hotel on two separate occasions. Both stays were enjoyable and satisfying. The cleanliness of the rooms was exceptional, with the housekeeping staff consistently ensuring clean towels and timely removal of trash. Additionally, we appreciated the diverse options available for breakfast during our complimentary hotel meal. It is worth noting that all members of the front desk staff were friendly and professional; however, special recognition goes to Malik and Jason for their exceptional service.

Room was very comfortable. Breakfast was phenomenal, I mean the best selection; the Hyatt Places or Houses never miss when it comes to that! The showers hot water was perfect. All the heating & cooling systems worked well. It was in walking distance to the Capitol which was very helpful. Would absolutely return here!

Location: good, walkable distance to food joint/metro(NoMa)/bus stop - around a mile from union station. Clean, Comfortable stay. Professional and helpful staff members. Good options in breakfast. Room was huge and with great view of the city.

I stayed at this hotel with my daughter for three nights at the end of January. Location is convenient, breakfast is awesome. Our room was clean and spacious.
The staff is very professional, polite, and helpful.

We stayed here for two nights, the rooms are neat and clean. They also served breakfast with a decent menu. CheckIn was easy and fast.

Union Station was 10min walk, super convenient if you are roaming.

Tip: If you want to refill your water bottle, check the Gym on 2nd Floor.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. Austin stayed past his shift to ensure we were properly accomodated as we did arrive late in the evening. The hotel was quiet and in a convenient location close to all the places we wanted to visit

I stayed here last week. Overall, I had a pleasant time and experience even though I did not get the room I initially paid and requested for. I paid for early check-in and Higher Floor Room. When I arrived I was given a key to a High Floor Room but someone was still in the room. Let the front desk rep know and was given another key to a lower floor room but still had a nice view. Room was clean and roomy enough space for two relax and comfortable. Breakfast was lackluster so don't have high hopes. Hotel is in a perfect location, close to great food spots, grocery store and my favorite Starbucks. 5 minutes from the Metro and Close to Downtown. I will stay here again on my future visits.

Arrived early and they were kind enough to allow us early check-in. Rooms are spacious with pretty much everything available. Clean bathrooms and good amount of toiletries. Got restaurant recommendations from reception and good guidance to navigate around. Super friendly reception folks, one guy in particular was on job on his 2nd day and did well enough to get any issues sorted and provide us smooth experience. The breakfast is brilliant, the juices were super fresh and coffee was the best I've had across my hotel stays in USA. Would recommend anyone to stay here for a good trip. This is one place that has actually lived up to the brand name and provided the delightful experience.

Rooms were clean and spacey! A little warmer than our liking but not a deal breaker. Location was perfect as we were on foot and heading towards national mall most days - although tropical storm Ophelia had another plan for us for transportation 😒 The service is absolutely why we would return though. Jason the front desk manager was so super friendly, accommodating, had recommendations for my son and I, and overall was pleasant even though he was putting in double shifts and putting up with our obnoxious jokes every time we saw him 😂 Would definitely return for the service alone!

Very clean, nice room, we actually had a problem with the AC and they fixed it right away. Very polite staff and they were very helpful, especially the maintenance and valet. Breakfast had a lot of variety which was nice. We definitely enjoyed the pool, and had it for ourselves for the time we were there.

The room was great. Comfortable in all aspects. Surprisingly large really. Staff was super helpful, knowledgeable and efficient. Breakfast was incredible and deservedly busy. We bought parking with our reservation which was convenient using the valet service which was super accommodating and courteous. We were a little concerned about the area but ran into no issues. There are many decent food options within a short walking distance.

I was a little worried after reading some of the most recent reviews especially traveling alone on foot. However, I did not experience anything that would give me pause to stay here. I was greeted by the door man. The concierge clerk was extremely friendly and helpful and I wish I could remember his name to properly acknowledge him. The breakfast was so so but I don’t usually pick a place because of breakfast. This was conveniently located to the places I needed to travel by metro to go to. Lots of restaurants, coffee shops, grocery and pharmacy nearby. E bike rentals if needed. It was a little noisy from street noise and sirens but I suspect that is to be expected in the DC area no matter where you’re at. The white noise machine helped. I had locked myself out at one point and the staff was great At issuing me a new key card without making me feel like an idiot. The room was comfortable and clean and the clerk did explain to me that housekeeping is every other day unless I would like it more often. Check out was easy with the same young man that checked me in. I’m either easy to please or people are too picky.

We checked in during the crazy 4th of July travel period with a toddler and a baby. Even though they were understaffed, we had the best customer service which made our stay not just satisfactory but really enjoyable. We ended up extending our stay by an extra day, largely due to the great service we got from the night manager Shanya, the valet driver Molla, and the custodial staff led by Luis. The room was comfortable and had a great view, allowing us to watch the fireworks throughout the night. Some of the amenities, like the toiletries are very basic, but the pool and fitness area more than made up for it and gave our family great memories.

Nice hotel. Our room was clean and just when we asked for. The hotel was quiet and the location is close to the metro so you can easily get anywhere.
My only issue what the service is pretty lazy. We had to wait an hour for a room along with a few other families. They don't have good house keeping apparently. It was almost 4pm by the time they finally gave us a key card. I find this ridiculous because we were told we could check-in at 3pm.

I enjoyed my stay here. I felt very safe as a solo traveler, the hotel requires a room key to get in the building and up the elevator, in addition to the room. It is a short and easy walk to the metro station to get anywhere in DC on the red line. 3 stops to the heart of downtown. Nice to be in a non-touristy area that still has great restaurants and even a few breweries! My only complaint would be that the pool was closed and I didn't find out until the night before my stay, no discounted rate despite not having an advertised amenity. A good 3 star hotel I would stay at again!

High traffic per usual to the city. However the hotel is in the center of plenty of restaurants and museums.
