This post office is so nice. The employees are friendly, the flat rate boxes and envelopes are well stocked, and they actually have pens you can use. The employees don’t seem angry that they have to interact with you like certain other dc post offices I could mention (cough 14th st cough)

I love this post office! It’s clean, fast, and the service from the staff is amazing. I previously went to the location at 14th and U and the service is terrible there. I walk twice as far to go to this location.

Loved this older post office building located near the White House and many other monuments. I needed to buy a few stamps and the clerks were patient and quick in fulfilling my request! Will come again if needed!

Just a walk-in to send a package across the continent (being an international visitor very unaccustomed to the USPS), found a flat pack priority shipping box (guessed the right size and packed the articles I was sending) that was included along with insurance in the shipping cost, and then encountered a really helpful employee on the counter who helped me tape up the box (rather than sending me to go and buy an entire roll of tape that I’d only have used a couple of strips of for this one box, as some folks might have) and took all the necessary to get it sent. If there’s a single THE post office in the capital, this might well be it, and I wasn’t disappointed - will be back with postcards to send!!

I booked 4 passport appointments for my family a few days ahead of time. When we arrived, the gentleman (I believe his name was Van R.) upfront asked if we were here for passports and asked us to wait amount while he took care of another group. Shortly thereafter, he took care of our family. Everything went very smoothly and he was super helpful and pleasant. While we were waiting, my toddler needed to use the potty and he’s new to wearing underwear. When the woman working upfront realized it was my toddler that needed to go, she was kind enough to let us use the employee bathroom in the back and avoid an accident. We were very grateful! We had a great experience.

In and out very quickly with great service. The place was clean and they had the supplies I needed.

This is a USPS in a very nice old building and I love this location. Visited it twice and both time I had a great experience.

Surprisingly good! I'm not privy to the rest of the staff, but Ms. Goff was quick, courteous and very polite and made the tiresome process of mailing a seamless experience.

It's an fabolus area to place many mails in the delivery service. When it comes to create something important, they cna make it, when they want to send the products in the mail, they can take it to the dilivery service where they can assists them to have many solution to be in the decent times. This is one of the largest places in the district arena. Sure it is the option for the deivery event,

The building is nice, quiet, and clean. The post office itself is fully stocked and the workers are nice and helpful. I think some of y'all just hate going to the post office...

I USE THIS LOCATION ALL THE TIME AND HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM OUT OF THE EMPLOYEES OR THE SERVICE, IT SOUNDS TO ME THAT SOME OF THE PEOPLE WITH NEGATIVE COMMENTS WANTS SOMEONE TO CATER TO THEM LIKE THEY ARE ENTITLED, IF YOU DON'T LIKE THE SERVICE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE ITS NOT A HARD THING TO FIGURE OUT, I WONDER WHAT PEOPLE WOULD SAY ABOUT SOME OF THESE COMPLAINERS WORK HABITS
