Oanh's Nails

This salon has evolved into a wonderful and relaxing place for nail care. Their spa pedicure services are first class. They use fresh fruit slices in spa mixtures presented with fresh flowers, and always a bottle of water offered. The salon is very professional and clean. They have full reclining pedi chairs and excellent techs. They don’t rush you in and out. Give them a try!!!!! Highly recommend!

So I’m not usually one to leave reviews, but considering all the not so great reviews for this spot, I felt like I had to. I broke a nail yesterday and was in a fair amount of pain, so I called this salon at 9:30am this morning and was able to make an appointment for 2pm same day. I get dip nails, which are often done incorrectly. The last nail salon I went to was also an emergency appointment while visiting a friend in New York and that spot BOTCHED my nails. They were chunky and uneven with texture under the polish. Today at Onah’s, I had (I believe) Jack. I didn’t catch his name, but he was quiet and efficient. It was so clear he knew exactly what he was doing and completed my dip manicure in under 40 minutes. He wasn’t rushing by any means, it was just so obvious that he was proficient in dip nails. He did the correct number of dip layers and everything. When I tell you this is probably the best dip manicure I’ve ever had, I mean it. They also had a million colors to choose from. Please disregard some of the worse reviews and give this place the love it deserves!

First time I visited. I had a customer tell me about Oanh's because she knew I was looking for a good place to get my nails done close by due to having not so great experiences else where. So I did a walk in and Oanh was the one to do my nails and I must she went beyond her duty as a nail technician. She made sure she double and tripled checked her work and did exactly what I asked for. Most places try ro talk me outta of what I'm asking but not Oanh. She gave me exactly what I asked for and I will definitely be going back next week for my fill. Mist places my nails don't last a week n half to 2 weeks due to my work but it's been over 3 weeks and they still look great. Thank you Oanh you are awesome and I recommend anyone looking for good service for nails to go. Of course they do other than nails also.

I got my nails done the other day by Jack. Jack made my whole mood change that’s how great of an experience I had. I was having a bad day and feeling sad and quiet. Without even asking for it, Jack gave me extra sparkles and a nail design. I asked him, “How did you know?” And he said, “By holding your hand I can read your energy and knew you needed it” I was so happy. Jack gave me a hug and I left with not only a beautiful manicure but a new mood as well. Please give this place a try, its’ beautiful design, and beautiful people running it.

My regular salon cancelled my appt I had for a month, could not provide service same day with another nail tech. I opted to come see Tommy and he did a great job. Very clean, reasonable pricing and super friendly staff.

I called yesterday for an appointment today...which is almost unheard of in this area. The woman that answered the phone was very well spoken and pleasant.
When I walked in I was greeted by a very friendly gentleman and asked if I would like something to drink. The technician that did my mani pedi was very competent and pleasant...but a little on the quiet side...I believe her name was Kim.
When I was ready to leave I was given a tube of Codi tangerine lotion, I believe because I was a first time customer. Overall, I had a very good experience. I'm glad I took a chance on this salon despite some of the negative reviews.

I have searched all over Lewes and Rehoboth, going back to salons a few times to give it another try, but Oanh’s was the first place I will continue to visit!!! Kim gave me the most wonderful pedicure/massage I’ve ever had. The atmosphere was light and fun with everyone interacting and laughing. My nails are very soft and thin, and Kim did not try to oversell me with gels, acrylics and dips!!! Another lady sat next to me and it was her first, but NOT last time. All around a perfect place to relax and enjoy the experience! What a nice change 👍🤗🦩

I called for a mani/pedi appointment today, the Thursday before July 4 weekend, expecting to have to wait until next week. They immediately fit me in, at a time convenient for me. I was warmly greeted at the door. My technician was wonderful, even fixing a nail that I accidentally touched to the fan while drying, even when I told her it was my fault and she was busy, so please forget it. She told me it was no problem, and fixed it to perfection. Overall, the experience was great. Very happy customers joking with the owners, existing customers greeted by first names, a friendly, neighborhood feel. I booked another appointment for August. Please note: we purchased our Lewes home a year ago. I could walk to this salon, but I never did so because of the bad reviews. I know that my experience was my experience, and others’ may differ, but I think people should really think about the potential damage to a local business when they go online. Some of the sweeping, negative comments about the poor attitude of the owners and employees are just hard for me to imagine.

This shop is definitely one of the best in the area. Jack does great work. The shop is such a vibe. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. Love how it’s always clean and professional, but they know how to have fun.

I have only had great experiences here, and I've been coming here for over 2 years. I wanted to address the review titled ABUSIVE by Sandra Thompson. Yes, I was there the day that she brought her 84 year old mother in. The owner and other technicians in the salon tried very hard to be helpful in matching the nail polish color that her mother wanted. Ms. Thompson stated that she was a former business owner, and I am also a former business owner. In fact, I owned a large, full service Beauty Salon in Washington, D.C. until 10 years ago. There are tens of thousands of different nail polish colors, and a salon CANNOT stock them all. While this encounter was escalating, I was having my nails done by the owner, Oanh, I even got up and tried to help Ms. Thompson's mother find a color that would be close to the shade she requested!! The ladies were being unreasonable and rude. While the salon didn't have the exact shade, the ladies could not find a color that was acceptable out of the ?4 or ?500 available! (I'm not sure how many colors are available)
Now, who do you think was abusive? I was there and experienced the whole exchange.

This was my second time at this nail salon love the services everyone it’s friendly. The salon it’s nice and clean. They take their time with their clients didn’t feel rush at all like other places. My favorite place now.

I called and was able to get a mani/Pedi within 10 minutes. No joke, best pedicure ever. Really did a great job on my calluses. Nice people, quality work, very reasonable prices. Got both mani and Pedi for $55! Amazing. You've got a new loyal customer.

I treated my 4 year old granddaughter to getting her nails done and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. They did a great job on her nails at a very reasonable price for a child.

I desperately needed a pedicure and gel mani. After calling around to a few places to see if I could get a same day appointment (everywhere I called was booked for days), I came across this place on google. I called and was able to get in same day. After I hung, I read these reviews. I was nervous. Well my experience was far from many of these reviews. Shop was new and clean! The gentlemen ( I did not get his name) did my pedicure and gel mani. And it is the best Pedi and mani I have had in a long time. He was gentle and very efficient with time. I notice while sitting there that the ladies in there worked very hard and when a small issue occurred with a nail color they quickly fixed it for the other patron. I will be returning and I will be letting everyone know of my wonderful experience here

Extremely friendly staff I have had my nails done by Sam and Jack excellent job.If you want something done special see Jack he does an Ombré manicure turns out beautiful..a bit pricy though.

Very nice salon. They were so funny and personable. She did a wonderful job. I will be back since this is up the street from my workplace and I won't have to hurry to Dover. 😀

Jack did a great job, very friendly and clean environment and I booked my next visit. Been to a lot of not so great nail salons in the area this is definitely a gem.

Gina was delightful. Very gentle and professional. Had a basic pedicure. Salon is clean and new file, brush etc used on each client. Instruments have been autoclaved
Will continue this pleasant experience.

We came here for pedicures on my moms birthday and not only did they do a great job on the pedicures, but they went out of their way to make her feel special. We have not had an experience this great in a while!
