BridgePrep Academy of Broward has become a great school and this past year the Principal has turned the school into a strong, caring school. I'm a teacher there who's been for 3 years and this has been by far the best year yet. I know all the students on campus in every grade, yet I don't teach them. We are a small close-knit school family. I hear of great things to come next school and I can't wait to start.

BridgePrep Academy of Broward is very attentive to you child's needs. During this time, they are making sure that students are comfortable as well as their parents! Communication between the school and parents and their children is top-notch! Messages go out daily so that parents are always aware of any changes. The Principal is very attentive to the students, parents and her staff.

When I first brought my son to Bridgeprep Academy two years ago, he Had zeros in all his classes. He couldn’t read or comprehend fluently what he was reading! I thank God for all of Brandon’s eighth grade teachers, they worked hard and took that one on one time with myself and my son. For that I thank them. I want to give a shout out to the administrators and staff for there commitment and skills to pay the bills!!!!!!
Bridgeprep academy cares and gets results from our children, I highly recommend this school!!!$$$$$$$$$

I love BridgePrep in Tamarac! The teachers and staff there are amazing! They did a great job with the “online learning” process during this COVID-19 pandemic! My oldest son has successfully passed to the 3rd grade and I’m looking forward to my youngest son’s Kindergarten experience there!!

Hands down best charter school. Small but very attentive to your child’s needs. Mrs Stone and her staff in a short time have really brought out the best in my daughter.. I couldn’t be more thankful.

So basically, I give it a 4 stars because some teachers are a little strict. like for example, we can't use the bathroom until whatever time. Including attitude. For example, me and my sister was having fun and they were calling us multiple times. We did not hear even though if we were listening. One of the staff came up to us and told us we had to go. We were pretty disappointed since they raised their voice a little. Another one, is that a teacher asked me to sit down but I refused politely. They kept asking and almost raised their voice, so I did. I now always have the fear of that teacher since then. When he pass bye, I would just get a werid feeling. So please try to have the teachers lower their attitude. Thanks!

My kids attended Bridge Prep in 2017 and my experience with this school was horrible and unprofessional. In the beginning of the school year of 2017/2018, I informed Bridge-Prep Academy Of my daughter learning condition, and stated that she should be enrolled into their RTI program, I also had her previous school faxed over her RTI documents supporting her difficulties and scores. Throughout the school year, I have had numerous teacher and parent conferences, as well as speaking with the office staff, the principal and ESE staff about giving my daughter the proper interventions, such as pull outs by an Intervention Specialist and small group teaching. Almost everyday I asked my daughter was she pulled out for her accommodation and her answer was always no and I know this was true because of her lack of progress and some area subjects. A week before school was out, I was told my daughter will be retained in the third grade😒. I was highly upset and disappointed, I felt if the school had taken the proper steps & given the proper intervention, small group teaching & pull out, my daughter would have shown progress instead of failure. The school staff admitted no one was hired for the RTI program nor was anyone overseeing the intervention programs. I highly feel like the school failed my daughter and showed lack of care towards her learning, as well as towards my concern throughout the school year, which I predicted to the principal and ESE staff. That’s is why I kept going back and forth to the school to prevent my prediction. On August 3rd 2018, I had a meeting with the new principal at Bridge Prep Academy of Tamarac. The new principal even agreed thats things wasn't handle correct & she couldn't believe all things she have to fix but I still left that meeting very disappointed. During the meeting I felt very offended by a statement that was made by the principal & I quote "statistics show children that was retained back in the 3rd grade become dropouts and end up in prison." I couldn't believe what was being said to me. Here I am fight and advocating for my child to stop her from being retained do to the failure of the school and this is what the principal tells me. She also mentioned her hands is tied and she can't do nothing. I contacted the board members of the school and they wasn't no help. Just pathetic, I went to the districted and contact the superintendent office and was gaven little help but not that much. I withdrawal all of my kids from this school and put them into public school which was the best decision I ever made. Before registering my kids for public school, I informed the new school about my daughter being retained and how Bridge Prep didnt provide her accommodation and the new school ESE Specialist jumped right on it and reach out to Bridge Prep. Bridge Prep never replyed to her requesting documments because I didnt have anything to show for her accommodation. The new school took their time with my daughter and gave her another test and she passed and was promoted to the 4th grade (no longer retained). Long story short, I fought for my daughter all the way to the top and never gaved up because my daughter wasn't going to be retained because of a situation like this. Bridge prep staff dont care and neither do they Board members. All they care about is grant money and making sure they have a good amount of kids. I will NEVER deal with a Charter school again EVER!!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND BRIDGE PREP.

The teachers at this school have a real DON'T CARE ATTITUDE, most of the teachers are too young so they portray unprofessional behavior, and the older ones seem too tired or just (DON'T CARE). My kid got picked on by kids and teachers , if your kid is a super smart kid he/she will be okay here but if not your in for a rude and disappointing awaking. MS VALENCIA and MS SOLO are the best teachers so far but of course ms solo is not originally their teacher. They don't take time out with your kids here when they teach if your kid catches on then awesome but if not they are left behind and the worst part is your not notified until report day and if you pop in unexpectedly and ask about your kid the answer will be I DON'T KNOW and that's from your kids teacher, I had an experience where the front office lady told me SHE CAN'T TALK TO ME SHE'S COUNTING MONEY , so sad do not send your kid to this school unless it's your last chance. They don't even deserve half a star
