The Great Publix Avocado Heist

It was a sunny afternoon, and Bob was on a mission. He had one goal in mind: to find the perfect avocado at Publix. Armed with a shopping cart that had a squeaky wheel (because, of course, it did), he ventured into the produce section.

As he approached the avocado display, he noticed something odd. A man in a trench coat and sunglasses was standing there, squeezing every single avocado as if he were testing stress balls.

Curious, Bob asked, “Excuse me, sir, are you an avocado connoisseur?”

The man looked up, startled, and replied, “Ah, no, I’m an Avocado Inspector. Very official.”

Bob chuckled. “Is that a real job?”

“As real as the guacamole I’m going to make,” the man winked.

Just then, a Publix employee walked by and noticed the spectacle. “Is everything alright here?”

The Avocado Inspector dramatically turned, pointing at Bob. “This man is trying to steal my job!”

Bob laughed so hard he almost knocked over a display of oranges. “I assure you, I have no desire to squeeze avocados for a living.”

The employee joined in the laughter. “Well, as long as no avocados were harmed, carry on!”

Bob finally picked an avocado that felt just right. As he walked away, the Avocado Inspector saluted him. “May your guacamole be ever flavorful!”

Bob couldn’t help but laugh all the way to the checkout, thinking that this was one shopping trip he’d never forget.

Placed a cake order and and discovered at the special occasion that it was not what was ordered. It was very disappointing but spoke with Leslie the bakery manager and she made it right by graciously providing a complete refund. Kudos to Leslie for her Customer Service excellence! She restored my confidence in Publix that they will do the right thing.

This is my favorite place to shop for the past 60 + years. Always clean and well stocked. All employees are very helpful.

stopped by the deli with a friend and the employee who helped us out with the name tag ‘Jessy’ did an over the top job with our subs! A+ service and they tasted delicious!

Well it's a big store. So it has everything. My favorite drink Hint and Callaway Blue. Lots of other places don't have Them. All the time.

Large, clean, bright and always with enough cashiers on hand that I'm never forced to use the self checkout lanes,which is something I appreciate more and more these days

I am homeless and this particular location has helped me so much the last few days that I have been able to get a job offer from Tesla out in California. I intend to finish my bachelor's of philosophy and then apply to Stanford, Berkeley and Cal Tech. I purchase all of my food, drinks and smokes from this location using money friends and family have sent me via cash app and my Apple Pay. Thank you so much for being kind. The store has the best selection I have ever seen, and is clean, and has a kind staff. The store manager kindly asked me if she could help me find anything the other day. Some guy yelled at her, and she told me to just ignore him. Idk why he was so rude. This store helped me change my life for the better. I am a student and just got a job at Tesla I'm San Francisco!!! I have been camping nearby off property. I should be on a plane to California by Tuesday. Thank you for not treating me like a thief or like trash. You have no idea how grateful I am for this store and it's staff. When I am a great scientist, I will not forget the a ts of kindness from my past. Acts of kindness are the foundation of my work, and of a good society. Thank you 🙏

Needed to get a cake for may Dad’s birthday and ingredients for a shrimp, avocado and mango salad that I was making. I don’t frequent this Publix but a store employee may have noticed I was searching for a while and she offered me help in finding the things I needed.
The Bakery staff was very helpful and I was in and out quickly.

One of the supermarket choices in Florida. May be the best, clean, super nice attention from each employee, feel like they also owns it. I like the Angus meet, avocados are best quality, in two day are ready to eat, everything to cook latin or American food, Italian, Japanese, Chinese.... BBQ .... salads.... yummy yummy 🤤😋🤤😋🤤😋

I believe this is the first time I visited this Publix. It was a pleasurable experience. The store was nearly empty on a Sunday evening. The store is a bit larger than my local Publix but it is further away. I just happened to be in the neighborhood after dinner and decided to gain a new experience.
