Waters Edge Park is a beautiful and versatile park that has something for everyone! 😍🌳 Alongside the amazing splash pad, you'll find a wide array of amenities to enjoy. The playground is shaded and truly amazing, offering an array of climbing equipment, thrilling slides, and swings for all ages. 👧👦👶 It's the perfect spot for kids to let their imagination run wild and have endless hours of fun. 🤸‍♀🎢🏃‍♂ However, currently, the zip line swing is down (hopefully just for maintenance, and it will return). 😔

For those who love sports, there's also a volleyball court to enjoy. 🏐 When it's time to unwind, there are plenty of benches and pavilions where you can relax and have a picnic. 🍔🥤 And if you fancy a barbecue, you'll be pleased to know that there are charcoal grills available as well. 🍢🔥

Need a break from all the activities? Head over to the fishing dock and try your luck catching some fish. 🎣 And the best part? The park provides clean and well-maintained bathrooms for your convenience. 🚻💧

This is one of the more bigger parks in the area. Each play area, that is the splash pad and playground, are fenced with lovely colourful, plastic fences to keep the kiddies in. The splash pad is quite impressive! No slides or house like structures. Just enough for toddlers to enjoy themselves. The playground has many different structures for the children to play on and is covered which is nice. The grounds are quite big considering it’s in the middle of a suburban area. There’s a basketball court and volleyball court complete with sand and a net. There is a workout station in the back. Some people bring blankets and sit on the grass to have a tiny picnic. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Parking is an issue though. There are only so many spots in the park, if it’s full you can park in the parking lot across the street by the school. This is a great place to tire your kiddies out!

I love that it's always clean and the playground is mostly gated. My kids have a blast here. You can go for a walk, go to the splash pad or the playground big plus it's a great place to have birthday parties at since they have a BBQ pavilions!

Amazing park just a block away from University Drive. It's a little hidden, but a great facility. There's a splash pad and a beautiful newly constructed playground. Plenty of parking and lots of places to sit. There's a bathroom that's really clean, too.

The biggest drawing point is a piece of play equipment. It's built like a combination of a swing and a zip line. I've never seen anything like it. Hours of fun for sure.

Dress comfortably, bring cool iced water and snacks and a good book to read because you kids will not want to leave.

The wet area is very colorful and you may get wet, so dress accordingly and also bring your own folding portable chairs as I find that this area doesn't have enough Seating. Don't forget towels and sunscreen.

Comparatively affordable pavilion rentals to other parks, and they refund your deposit if you can keep the pavilion the way it was when you got there. Very accommodating and simple process. We go here all the time to enjoy the park as well.

What an excellent fenced in FREE water park! There’s also a fenced in playground! Can’t wait to come back. Thank you Tamarac! Slam dunk. Seeing all the children playing together is so wonderful.

Update: I’ve called twice to ask if the fence has been mended, was told it had been. Arrived today for a planned gathering with others and was brought to tears. A mother can not chase two toddlers with multiple massive pieces of the fenced enclosure missing. Please fix this issue so the park can be enjoyed by everyone.

Update: I drove by in 2023 and the fence appeared to be fixed from what I could see.

This is such a wholesome place to spend the afternoon with the family. Everyone is having a great time and everyone is super respectful. The park itself is amazing, has a little bit of everything. Has the water park, a nice jungle gym, and even community outdoor gym equipment.

I would like to take the time and thank the city of Tamarac for making this park. Awesome job. The park is clean and it’s free. Couldn’t ask for anything better. The park has so much inside to do. I will definitely return with the kids again they had a blast. Only thing not much parking

Great place to let the kids run around and get some energy out in a beautiful and clean gated area. We went to the Splash Park with a 1 year old and a 2 year old and both had a great time. (splash areas accommodate multiple acres). Also, they have shaded picnic tables and nearby Bathrooms for those kids who are still Potty training!!

This park is so clean and so much fun it's super nice and my son has a blast every time I take him, There is a park and what they consider a splash pad there that looks so much like a water park it's so much fun they also have basketball courts and they have bathrooms and everything is clean and the people are nice and friendly wish there was more park's like this in Jacksonville, Fl

Great park for the kids to splash or play! Completely free! No pets allowed in the park though.

From the smiles on parents and kids alike, you can tell that this splash pad is a blast blast blast. The water spurts from the floor, drops from giant buckets overhead, and sprays from the side. The pad is fully fenced in so little ones can't wander off, there's benches and tables around the perimeter for parents to sit and watch. The flooring is rubbery spongey, no slipping. It's free too. In the dog days of a Florida summer, this place is absolutely refreshing.

I always take my great nephews to this park when I visit. I love how clean it is and all the bright colors. It is a very safe and family friendly park. And a plus is the exercise equipment and water park.

Fav park to go to! Every part has a gate which allows for safe fun. Don't like the swing thing a child almost kicked my son.

Very well done city park for kids with a splash park and a covered playground. A blessing on a hot Florida day.

Beautiful park in Lauderhill, Fl. Walking path, exercise station, playground, kiddie splash, basketball court, volleyball court, benches, pavilions, charcoal grills, fishing dock, clean bathrooms.

Omg. I was anxiously awaiting for the park to open up today is opening day and it was everything and more that you could’ve expect from a park. You have two shelters that you can rent one has a waterfront view and a grill the other one has a grill and a waterfront and landscape view. You also have a fitness zone that you can come and work out as well as a small trail I don’t know how many miles it is yet but I’m sure they’ll provide information. You have bathrooms which is excellent. And a wash station for after your kids play in the chlorinated water.
