The restaurant is located on a busy street with street parking and a municipal parking lot across the street. The interior is very nice and cozy. The service was great when we went on a Saturday night, we are surprised it wasn't busy. They seem to getany takeout orders.

Our orders came out quickly. Appreciate the extra details using beautiful dishes. The Sugoi Braintree roll is so good, definitely recommend it! The All Day Combo is a great deal that includes a bowl of miso soup. The quality of the sushi is great here and we're satisfied with the overall experience.

5 stars all the way for this hidden gem! The sushi here is not just food, it's art. Every roll is a masterpiece, bursting with fresh ingredients and unique flavors. We went out for my husband’s birthday tonight and had the most wonderful dinner. All of the sushi was delicious and fresh, the atmosphere was intimate and happy, and they were so kind to our little daughter. The prices were also quite reasonable for the quality and service provided. I really appreciated how special they made the evening feel, and we will definitely be back!

Splendid, if you haven't been there you must go. This was my first visit and it was AWESOME. The food was excellent and so was the service. A very tiny spot but feels homie. I went there a dinner time and had the Shrimp Shumai, Avocado Seafood Salad, Dragon Roll and Scorpion Maki, and the Sushi Dinner and it was one of the best sushi I've had. I would definitely recommend and the price is very reasonable.

We came in for the first time, and had an amazing experience. We were greeted with an host that was attentive, service was great, and we received our food and drinks quickly. The menu is light, but everything is presented nicely and tastes great. Will definitely be back!

Authentic Japanese cuisine. The atmosphere was calm and friendly. The dishes were delicious and just right amount of seasoning and flavors. Staff was attentive and helpful. Definitely recommend.

We love Sugoi! It is our favorite spot in town. It’s a cute place with a nice atmosphere. Employees are so friendly, great service by all of them. Their poke bowl is a MUST try!

Decided to drop by this small sushi restaurant while in town and was very pleased with the service and menu options! I ordered the Shrimp Tempura Udon and Taro Bubble Tea which were very tasty. We ended up getting a complimentary seaweed salad due to our order price as well. Trying the different mochi flavors was a sweet and delicious way to finish off the meal! Everyone was very friendly and I hope to visit again in the future!

I found the prices to be perfectly reasonable! I’m fact for all we got, the bill was lower than expected. The server was very friendly, fun, and super attentive - she visited our table frequently and we felt well cared for.

My girlfriend is Japanese and really liked it (“おいしい！”), so there’s a strong endorsement as a final word lol ☺

Sugoi is a new sushi joint right in Braintree Square which opened around Sept 2020. Ordered takeout, which was promptly on time. The inside is quite small and has flashing lights and hip music, so it'll probably be a fun, cozy place to dine out in the future.

I ordered the Water party platter ($80 as of this review), which comes with 26 pieces of nigiri and your choice of 4 maki rolls - I chose the spicy shrimp tempura, spider, dragon, and scorpion. The platter was beautifully presented. The fish was very fresh and the fish-to-rice ratio on the nigiri pieces were great. My favorite was the spider roll with fried soft-shelled crab - so good!!!

I'm excited to take advantage of their dining specials which are listed as coupons in their menu. For example, Mondays and Tuesdays are buy one get one 50% off on all sushi, sashimi, and maki rolls. Street parking is free.

Decided to try something around here for sushi and found this gem. Tucked along the street with a few street parking spots in front, but a larger public lot across the street. Owners are very friendly and helpful with the menu. Food came out lightning fast and was delicious. We tried a lunch special maki and a poke bowl. Plenty of flavor and presentation is great. Forgot to take pictures since we dug into it fast.
Will definitely go back more often to try out the other dishes!

Good raw sushi, great fish dish. Beautiful and unique ambient. Bit too cold.
For the party of three, dishes were served separately within about 10 minutes.

This place is my absolute favorite restaurant in Boston! It’s a very small place but it’s very comfy and the service was excellent! The waitress was very nice too. The food was excellent and me and my family loved it! Overall I 100% recommend this place and I will be returning soon!

Poke bowl was delicious. Service was superb. Small place. But perfect for an intimate. Take out is also delicious 😋

Went with family and cousin on 1/12 and as soon as we walked in the service was amazing we.forgot the servers name but she was the owner and was amazing and so was the food

The best sushi I've had in the United States!

Great little sushi spot, the owner Monique is so kind and her husband makes some great maki rolls. Our favorites are Miss Wolf, Volcano Break and the Lollipop appetizer. Also have enjoyed anything with raw tuna or salmon including poke bowls! Easy place for a small group or couple and they also deliver locally. A must try on the South Shore!

What a fantastic little restaurant. tl;dr - if you want sushi and you’re near here, don’t hesitate, just go.

Located centrally by many other businesses in Braintree, I overlooked it for over a year the few times I’d drive by that part of town. But now that I know it’s there, I might become a regular, and the friendly folks working there will help with that, too. They gave the traditional greeting when entering the shop, and the takeout order I had placed on their website for pickup was ready to go.

Everything in the takeout box was packed well. The fried octopus balls I got were even wisely separated from the sauce for carryout, so they still had heat and a bit of crisp to them when we got home, and could dunk them in as much sauce as we’d like.

We got a few spicy rolls (there’s a lunch special with 3 of them), and the dragon roll maki, and everything tasted great, especially the dragon roll.

Highly recommended!

I would include a picture but the sushi was so good I demolished the rolls I ordered. Would go back in a heartbeat.
