San Diego Grill | Port Orange Restaurant

This place is great. The food is consistently delicious. I get the summer salad almost every time. It’s delish. The staff is really friendly. I also like that it is cozy and the noise level is at a good level where you can easily hear your dining companions.

Another delicious meal! Lunch or dinner San Diego Grill, hits it out of the park!! Today I got Fried Zucchini, Chicken Marsala (which was the best I’ve had), & a regular Margarita!! Our server Kelly (also bartender) was very attentive and friendly. Can’t wait to come back! Sorry, I was toooo busy eating to take a good pic before I started! So I took a pic of my left overs. 😂

We decided to eat here after some shopping in Port Orange - we definitely stumbled on a fantastic place to eat - the food was very tasty - cooked perfectly! Staff super friendly! Atmosphere is good for anyone dining here. Great hidden gem in the shops there!

New Orleans Mahi with a house salad as a side substitute. The shrimp were big and succulent, the Mahi was cooked perfectly and the sauce was to die for. The salad was nice. It was fresh and crisp. I would like to encourage people to leave a review and if able, acnowladge your servers as well. These smaller restraunts aren't advertised, but this one should be! Excellent service from all staff!! Chef's were top notch!

Fantastic food and excellent service. We were there twice in one week. Once during lunch on a weekday so it was empty, and the again on Sunday when it was packed. Both times the food was great and it arrived quickly. The owner is always there so that's what keeps the place good.

I ate here for the First time today. I got the chicken tender dinner meal to go. It was extremely delicious, hot, fresh and no complaints. Fries had a very great taste as well, which seems to be hard to come by these days. I had several servers catering to me the moment I walked in, all very friendly and attentive to make sure my food was fresh and that It was exactly what I wanted. Service was fantastic, highly recommend giving this place a try!

Good food but spicy for some people. 1 dish per person for sure. We came, ate and left in about 45 minutes. For a mid way trip stop, it is a great point. Tesla charger available and in walking distance. Plan to arrive at 20 or less. You leave at 100.

I dont remember the last time I didn't take home leftovers from a restaurant, but the food here was very excellent! One of the few restaurants I've ever been too with mac and cheese that had a cheese stretch, it was delicious. The burger I had was well prepared and cooked right. Very tasty food here, I will definitely be coming back for the ribs!

First time visit today... what a pleasant surprise! We ordered the Chicken fajitas, Chicken spinach platter,and the kid's burger with a side of macaroni and cheese. All of our food was delicious and seasoned wondefully. I have to spotlight that Macaroni and Cheese, tasted homemade, so cheesy and yummy! The service was outstanding and everything is very reasonable priced. Definitely one of my favorites!

great prices, good portions. The staff is attentive and gave great suggestions. Hostess David was not very friendly at first but seemed to warm up when our table became ready. This place is frequented by "regulars" and it was packed by 4:30 pm when we arrived for an early dinner. Shrimp po-boy & Chicken Picatta were tasty.

So the food is amazing..... but better than that was the service, holy cow!! We were standing out the door debating on restaurant, and the manager came out and started explaining menu options we had questions about. The wait staff was phenomenal!!! Would definitely recommend this place on customer service alone. But the food is also a 5 star taste!! We ate as a party of 8, 6 were kids. And they loved it.

The food was very good! The hangover burger was perfect. Not many places have delicious burgers and even less have delicious burgers with a perfectly cooked over easy egg. The San Diego Club sandwich was also really good. Definitely a hefty portion of ham and turkey. Servers and management get a 10/10.

17 April 2021. First time guests, we'll be back! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was modern and pleasant, and the service was fantastic. Our server frequently asked how everything was and we were visited by a manager asking the same. Two recommendations that would have made the experience perfect... 1) I asked for ranch dressing with my salad, and it was either not ranch (perhaps it was the horsey sauce? It was slightly pink) or was not normal ranch. Either way, it wasn't what I expected. 2) the onion rings served with the ribs were not HOT... More room temp. I have ABSOLUTELY NO DOUBT the restaurant would have quickly and happily resolved both issues, but I do hate to send food back and have it go to waste, so that's my bad. But as you can see, it didn't stop me from giving 5 stars and definatley planning to go back again. I like this place and want more!

Highly recommended!! The service here is always top notch. Food is fresh, made in house and cooked perfectly. They have a wide variety of fresh brewed teas. I love the mango peach mix. Great atmosphere. You can tell the staff takes pride in their work.

What a surprise! We looked at some of the photos and reviews before deciding to try this place. I was expecting it to be crowded and pricey. We went on Saturday night during peak dinner hours, the place had a good amount of people but we were seated right away. Typically, I'm very decisive and it only takes me a minute to decide what to order but their menu had everything I love! To top it off, everything was under $14 for dinner entrees it was great! I highly recommend this place. I got the Cajun Pasta, which was fantastic, and my wife got the chicken picatta. We are definately coming back, hopefully to try out the breakfast!

It was mid January, not cold but chilly for a Floridian. They told us we could be seated immediately outside so we went with it... I'm so glad we did! They busted out all the space heaters we needed, the food was amazing! We got our beers within 2 minutes of ordering... on a Friday! Fish and chips was on point and my wife loved the Shrimp Picata! Get in your car and GO! It's the perfect stop before a movie!

San Diego Grill is a little gem! We enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner here and have yet to wait a long time for a table. The service is quick and staff is so friendly they make you feel like you’re a part of the family! Prices are reasonable, even during these times of inflation! Thank you to the staff of San Diego Grill for great service every single time!

JESS our Server was awesome!!!! But I'm sorry to tell you Jess that our FOOD WAS 1,000 times BETTER!!!!!!!!!!! I mean that in the best way for Jess, she gave us the perfect recommendations for what we were in the mood for! I'm asking for her next time I stop in! As far as the food goes, from the beautifully flavored sauces, to the perfectly cooked meats and fish!!!! Let this review be your deciding factor & COME TO SAN DIEGO GRILL!!!! Love Love Love this restaurant! The food is always amazing no matter when you go. The portions are huge and the staff is always friendly. Great atmosphere and full bar. I have ordered several different types of dishes here and I am always happy with my decision.

WOW! We absolutely LOVED the atmosphere, service and food! Everything we ordered was delicious! If you like spice & shrimp order the Cajun Pasta…in the mood for Teriyaki, order the San Diego Bowl - Chicken & Teriyaki Sauce! Kids loved the Fish & Chips. Mac & Cheese is homemade and so yummy! Looking forward to our next trip back!
