K&M Coffee

Stepping into this coffee shop is like entering a haven of warmth and friendliness. The ambiance is incredibly cozy, making you instantly feel at home. The staff are not just attentive but genuinely friendly, adding to the overall pleasant experience. As for the coffee, the latte I had was excellent—truly a high-quality brew that surprised me, especially considering the rural location of the shop. I also had a delicious breakfast sandwich that was just as impressive as the coffee.

One heads-up for future visitors: while the environment is inviting, the Wi-Fi is pretty much non-existent. The speeds clocked in at just one MPS up and down, so if you're planning to work remotely, be prepared to use your own wireless data. Also, they don't offer alternative milk options, but that's understandable given the shop's rural setting and likely limited demand for such items. But don't let that deter you—the charm and quality of this hidden gem are more than worth a visit.

My absolute FAVORITE coffee shop! Honestly sometimes even better than Starbucks to me. The espresso, coffees, and food are made fresh and to order every single time. The owners are kind people who make every experience a great one. Let's not forget the art you can view and buy inside! It's beautiful, the setting is comforting and cozy. A great place to have a nice cup of coffee, a delicious breakfast bagel, and just relax!

What a lovely place to stop on our travels. Great coffee and ambience. I will also say was struck by the amazing customer service of the gentleman who served us. Also the staff were super sweet to a regular customer it was lovely to see. Darling town as well!!!

My favorite coffee shop to visit when I’m on the west side of the state. Kim is the best! I love that she uses local roasters and makes you feel at home. My favorite is their americano!

Loved this place. Visiting from NC and my friend doesn’t drink coffee so I was here 3x on a weekend visit. Fun atmosphere and fresh food and coffee and even picked up a nice pair of earings made by the owners.

Worked here for 12 years off and on with my mother and grandmother. Full disclosure. I have been to coffee shops from Miami to Manhattan and there is no coffee shop more cozy and unpretentious as my mother's place. Tallapoosa has the friendliest faces in the USA and there are many local landmarks, but K&M is the entry point where you're sure to run into everyone, like the city's guardian angels (Tommy and Mrs. Renee), resident LEOs, the mayor... the list goes on. It saddens me when belligerent passersby are rude to my family, especially my grandmother, but all-in-all, Tallapoosa's K&M is the perfect meeting spot for the community I believe to be the nation's finest.

I come here every so often with my older sister and/or brother. It's very nice. The shakes here are great, in my opinion, and I love the quiet atmosphere it has. Also, the owners are cat people, which is an A+ in my book, since I'm a cat person as well 🐈

If you want a slice of high-end New York-style cappuccinos, iced coffees, milkshakes, and mocha freezes, K&M is the place to go. The homemade sandwiches are heavenly. I grew up in Tallapoosa and make a point to visit every time I’m in town. Kellie is one of the nicest people on earth. Kellie, her mom, her husband, and her son are all great at what they do—and they treat their customers like family. She was so kind and caring when my mother passed away in 2017. My first stop when I’m back home is always K&M Coffee—even before heading to see my own family! I live most of the year among some of the finest coffee shops in New York, and I’m a picky consumer of coffee and pastries—but my favorite coffee shop on earth is still K&M. I’m proud to support small town local businesses!

I've only been here a few times and even brought my sister there while she was visiting. Very nice people and atmosphere .. calm and relaxing. we're not picky people so food and coffee is good and it's all around a great place. :)

The propriater was very welcoming and accommodating. The home made cinnamon roll was great, and the coffee was awesome. The coffee beans are sourced from a local bean roaster a few towns over so you know it's super fresh. Music creates a play full atmosphere. The decorations, furnature and paints are of earthy colors which give it more of a laid back visual appeal. They sell other breakfast and lunch items as well as ice cream treats. The walls are adorned with pieces of art and other little gift like goods. This place is definiely worth a stop if your in the area. The prices are fair and the quality is above average. I was here on a Monday morning and had the pleasure of sitting and talking to a Vietnam veteran. This place definitely has a great hometown feel that should not be missed out on I highly recommend K&M Coffee.

Right off the railroad tracks in historic area. Been coming to Tallapoosa for years but never stopped in. Finally this trip I did. Wish I had years sooner!
Loved their roast beef sandwich named "Railway". Comes with pesto mayo and cheddar cheese. I added lettuce upon request. Selected rye bread which held everything together till the last bite.
Loved it.

This place is a true gem and one of my new favorites they are a small family business and they are so friendly if you are in the area I suggest stoping by they have so much more than just coffee they even have ice cream,floats and shakes amount many other options support your locally owned businesses

I got married at Foxwoods in Tallapoosa, GA and was not from the area. I wanted a nice place for my bridesmaids to get together and have a brunch the day of the wedding. I called K & M and they agreed to do it. IT WAS PERFECT! She had a gift table set up as well as an eating table. She created the menu herself - we had different options for quiche, delicious fruit, etc... It was EXACTLY what I had in mind, and was VERY pleased with the service and the price. I would recommend this to ANYONE! Thank you K&M for everything.

Amazing coffee. Great selection and the place is adorable. The bagels and treats are so good. Definitely worth the drive.

Best coffee in town it’s my new favorite place. The woman who makes my coffee makes the best coffees it’s the only place my mom and I go too now!

I can say with absolute certainty that I have never left dissatisfied. The staff is always very nice to me when I come in. More importantly, the atmosphere is pleasant and the coffee is delicious!
