Bar Yoshi

From the moment we walked into Bar Yoshi, we knew we were in for a treat. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Our martinis were expertly crafted and absolutely delicious. The sushi was some of the best we’ve ever had - each piece was prepared to perfection. We were even lucky enough to meet with chef Jesse, whose charisma and passion for his craft were evident in every dish we received. Thank you, Bar Yoshi, for an unforgettable dining experience! 😊

I've been here twice and definitely enjoyed the sushi. The edemame was great as well, just a little salty.
It's a cozy restaurant, and the bartender (Justin) makes great espresso martinis.
Great place to unwind.
They have industry night on Mondays 👌.

I am currently sitting at Bar Yoshi during the Nantucket Stroll and Olivia is tending bar and I honestly cannot express how great she is. She was the only bartender and her service is better than places with multiple bartenders. She also very effectively dealt with rude customers with tact and courtesy. Amazing!!

Food is top notch. Probably the best sushi in Nantucket. Bar set up is perfect with a great top notch bartender. Spring rolls are a must. The outside seating is perfect on Nantucket summer nights!

I was at Bar Yoshi for my first time today and I have to say I had a great time. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I had any and everything I needed. Carlos is a very entertaining and friendly bartender. His drinks met and surpassed every expectation I had. Sandy the manager came up to me multiple times to see how I was doing and if I was enjoying my stay. I would highly recommend Bar Yoshi to anyone look for a good environment and friendly staff. Love the new location and beautiful interior! Really nice, trendy spot. Chic design and great for a quiet date, dinner alone, or bring your friends and eat on the shell walk outside on Old South Wharf.
Staff is so friendly and accommodating. Food was excellent. Look out 2019, this is the new buzzy place to be in town...

This is such a lovely spot for sushi! We ate here yesterday and enjoyed the outdoor seating with the beautiful weather. Our server Michael was wonderful and took good care of us. The sushi was VERY good......probably the best I've had in a while. My husband had the special artichoke appetizer and thought it was delicious. We will be back to Bar Yoshi!

This is one of the best restaurants in Nantucket! Best sushi on the island by far! It is also amazing because Micayla McMahon and Mack Velle work here!

This place is so cute, the vibes are great. Service was very fast, a 45 min meal. That is not for everyone! Food quality was great though! Would come again.

I could not love Bar Yoshi enough! Service (Thanks, Carlos) was fantastic, everything was SUPER fresh and I could have eaten everything twice over. The wine and beer selection was great, I think I spied sake in the cooler, too. Ramen, sushi, specials were all top-notch. Intimate space, great for a day or night date, or just because. Cannot wait for our next visit!

What a special place! I had an outstanding dinner. I was warmly greeted and seated at a table by the window. The location on the water was beautiful, and my server Mack was exceptional. I wanted something different than I would ordinarily order, and his recommendations were spot-on. The food was delicious. Because everything came together perfectly, this was my favorite restaurant during my week on Nantucket. Go- you won’t be disappointed.

Great little spot! We had a quick dinner here after tying up at the marina. The Alaskan king crab roll. Awesome. As was the edamame! Overall, very fresh fish, smart decor, and a fun time. Service can be tricky given the small space, but no big issues. Brian and Olga were great servers.

Rayhan made literally the best espresso martini I’ve ever had in my life. If you were going to pass by, change your mind. Even a local we met from a boat tour said this was the best on the island. Also, the lychee martini was incredible as well. Rayhan was KING

Downtown little Cafe next to some very nice shopping, it's a row east of the walk on the harbor. We sat at the bar and had some sushi rolls and a lobster salad. Also had some red wine and a spicy Margarita that were spot on and well presented. Service was very good and well staffed.. Typical prices and we would go back again.
