Jefferson Public Library

This library is very fun, warm, and welcoming. If you're looking for some good reading material they're sure to have it here and if they don't the staff will happily order it from another library so you can read it the next time you come in. They have plenty of places to sit, including a quiet room for when people are being just a bit more noisy than you'd want. The children's section alone is beautiful! There are so many options and a phenomenal mural of different animals reading. There are also all sorts of events you can attend so it's rare to find a full moment in this Library! For kids they have storytime, a drawing club, even events for homeschool kids. For everyone else they have Adult paint nights, Bingo, majong, DND, and even a writers club! There's so much to do!!
Be sure to head down to the library and check it out. Don't forget to grab an event calendar at the front desk so you can attend the events as well!

Did chair yoga. Quite a workout for me but worth it. The instructor is very caring and makes it safe. Love my library always something fun and interesting.

Spacious, well stocked, and beautiful. It is more like a Barnes and Noble than a local library. The staff are always pleasant and they order rare books for me through their network. Easy parking, great children's area, study rooms, and quiet room.

Staff is friendly, events and atmosphere are amazing. Keep meeting wonderful people each time we visit.

We love this place! Both my kids check out 15-20 books combined every couple weeks and they never have trouble finding their next good read. The variety of books for children is really nice, and my 6 year old has learned how to ask for help finding subject specific titles. I love that the staff has set up some wonderfully inclusive displays for us to peruse as well.

Always entertaining and child friendly. Plus, if they don't have it, they can get it through the network. The staff at this library is always friendly and helpful. Our children love going here.

Every time that I have visited this location (5-7 times) it has been a pleasant experience! They have every genre and even the most popular reads!
I brought my son and friend’s niece in and they had activities ready for them (on a random weekend) and we spent about 30-40 min enjoying it.
Furthermore it’s a clean facility and the staff is both nice and helpful !
I will always return to this location!

I love this library. I feel lucky to live close to it and I love bringing my kids. First of all the building is HUGE. Definitely not your normal small town library. Big beautiful mural painted in the entrance. Lots of rooms and tables for studying and reading. Nice clean bathrooms. Great teens and kids section with a big variety of books. Big beautiful mural painted in the kids section in the back too. They always have fun activities on their calendar too. ***Pre-covid they had computers for kids to play educational games and always had coloring pages on the tables in the kids section. They have a HUGE back activity room that they would sometimes put toys out in for the kids. And beanbag chairs and puppets. It was a great spot to take the kids if you just need to get out of the house and a change of scenery. Hopefully this part will be back to normal soon!!***

Jefferson Public Library visits are ALWAYS a pleasure. It's a beautiful place with friendly helpful smiling librarians. We are so.blessed to have such a wonderful well stocked library.

I love the staff here and I am so glad that they are back open! If you want a book, no matter how rare. They can get it for you.

They are always so nice and welcoming, especially to the school kids that need to get projects etc. done in the study rooms!
