Great service today! At Usher's day!

A very nice church to go to hang out with Christian type folk. Lively preaching with a responsive congregation. It's a rather handsome edifice with the red brick work and stately portico of concrete. We went for their Male Chorus' Anniversary ( I forget what year). They really had put in the rehearsal and we're hitting on all cylinders. Now to be fair they do happen to have 2 professional singers. Their talent was obvious. The other male chorus' were not impressed or frightened. They all came with their A-game and we're not to be showed up. It's sacred music and officially not a competition thing. That sounds good and looks good in print, but those guys every group came with a chip on. It was a fair sized group of men after all. The air fair reeked with sanctified testosterone. It was an especially good service as it usually is for New Salem. Afterwards they went to the fellowship hall and were treated unto bursting with some really good vittles and great conversation. Go. Enjoy. They are always kind and cordial to visitors and they invite them to stand and say a few words. I'm not of the sirt
