Canal run campsite

Great place off the grid and very remote. It's only accessible by kayak. There is a porta potter there if you need it.

It’s easier to come in from the East side of the swamp. Great spot to camp, and stretch your legs. There is dry land around the deck. There are several small alligators in this area, they act like they have been having people feed them.

Platform shelter with adjacent small area of dry land which includes a fire ring. Long bench along the back under the shelter and one picnic table. Nice views of the narrower part of the canal but surrounded by trees is like to be buggy at many times of the year. Tame resident gator (do not feed) sticks around. Toilet with hand sanitizer but not as clean as Coffee Bay (Nov 2020).

Easy paddle up or down stream. There is land here so a camp fire is ok in the fire ring provided.

This site is well worth the paddle everytime. There is a day use spot about half way that makes a good place to stretch your legs or maybe have your lunch. The beauty of the site for me is the solitude. You're practically in the heart of the swamp and you'd be hard pressed to find a more secluded and peaceful campsite in the south east.

Awesome spot. A little dry land to have a fire at night!

Perfect place to be alone and meditate. Beautiful park and wildlife!
