Owens Barbeque

Absolutely the best barbecue in Georgia. The people are so friendly and sweet. The prices are extremely reasonable. You get about twice as much food for the price as you would at other places. The smell of the meat cooking is delicious even if you are just driving by. I very highly recommend giving them a chance to make you smile.

Owens BBQ is nothing short of a hidden gem! The food was amazing. The burgers were hand pattied and cooked fresh! Also, the desserts were to die for.

There were only two girls running the whole restaurant and they were killing it! So friendly, accommodating, and our food was done so quick. Would definitely recommend.

Live the biscuits but now my favorite is the pancakes and sausage. We get the bq about once a week amazing. Hamburger steaks best in town. I live all the girls .always big smiles.

Best bbq I’ve ever had. The hickory fries are my favorite thing on the menu. So delicious! They have the friendliest staff that always have a smile on their face and make you feel welcome! Great portions for the price!

We always go thru the drive thru but the food is great as well as the service.

They're friendly, but that's not why you go there. You're going there because of the food. The hospitality is just a lagniappe.

And what food it is. Smoky ribs so tender the meat literally melts in your mouth, and the juiciest, most succulent chicken leg quarters to match. Smoked sausage with skin just this side of crispy. Some of the best pulled pork and smoked turkey legs in this state, smoked, seasoned and slow-cooked to perfection, and served with sweet baked beans, seasoned, savory turnip greens and creamy potato salad. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday, from 10am on, you too can experience for yourself what a team of well-seasoned (see what I did there?), professional grillmasters and artists can do. Whether you live here in El Dorado, or you're just passing through, make this place a priority stop. I'm pretty sure you'll make an excuse to come back.

The best BBQ, slaw, and baked beans in town! Not to mention their Hickory Fries! They fill the whole plate! Enough for two adults to eat!
