Kind, courteous &, compassionate are just some of the words that describe Dr. Wilburn and his staff. As a retired military member, I have been afforded health care from all types of providers; military & Civilian. I can say with complete confidence that the care I received at Tallapoosa Family Health is the BEST I have ever experienced. Phone lines are answered quickly, calls returned in appropriate time &, real people man the phones. The front desk & nurses understand you’re not feeling well & make every effort to help you in your time of need. Dr. Wilburn is a true credit to his profession & exemplifies what others in his field should strive to be. His demeanor was that of a brother with genuine concern and an unstoppable willingness to help. Words cannot describe how thankful I am to have found this facility.

Me and my husband Johnny brown having been going to this practice for years. My husband has been a patient here for about 10 years . First with Dr Howell and not he sees Dr Wilburn. And the care he’s received has been steadily wonderful. They know his name when he comes in the door and greet him like an old friend. The condition my husband has is rare and hard to diagnose and before coming to this office he seen several doctors that couldn’t determine what was going on. Then we brought him to this office and they didn’t stop till they figured it out and found a way to treat him so he could get on the path to living a normal life again. The staff is friendly and efficient. They treat their patients with respect and really care about them and their medical needs. They will discuss your needs with you instead of just rushing you in and out, and answer any questions you may have. We feel welcomed and well cared for when we go in the office, we aren’t just a name on the list. They work to get you the best care possible and make sure you do. We’d like to say a special thanks to the doctors and staff here for the time and care they have given my husband through this difficult time ..

Dr Wilburn is the best. Very thorough and caring. He had changed my life. Other docs blamed most of my aliments on my weight. Which is probably true but I still needed treatment. Dr Wilburn has compassion and has treated me. So now guess what ? I'm losing weight ! And not suffering so much while I do it. Go figure lol

I had my first appointment a couple of weeks ago with doctor Wilburn. He is excellent very caring and willing to listen. It is so hard to find good doctors now a days and they definitely have on in him. Glad my family and I decided to switch to this practice.

This is a great place i just moved to this state and been going there now for 3 months plus all my children go here. I think this place is the greatest plus always willing to help you out with finding other dr.s with what your needs are all you got to do is ask. And they help. Such a nice crew thast works there also so friendly.

Tammy at the front desk is very polite and welcoming and sometimes that makes all the difference when you are not feeling well.

I really like Dr Wilborn. Very professional. Bouns: He liked my blue hair, even though it surprised him. Lol!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Wilburn since I moved to Georgia five years ago. I'm a complex and rare case, yet he has been fantastic at helping me manage my health and condition.
The only other provider I have seen is the PA, Dar Robinson. While he was very polite, I did feel a tiny bit of patronization during my visit. Having been the unwitting holder of the short straw concerning health issues I have survived and continued thriving beyond, I know MY body better. I have to live in it. If you are managing a major health issue, he is probably not the one to see. He is perfectly suited for sports medicine, and I highly recommend him if you're in need of help in those situations.

I truly cannot stand the doctor I'm using. She's extremely rude and she asks me how much of my medicine I have left and then I tell her. Then when I ask for a refill she tells me it's too early to refill it so I'm going days and days without my medicine then getting back on it. Surely that's not good for my health..She's very snarky and rude unless you're seeing her in office. I am honestly wanting to switch doctor's. I feel that everything I say to her is going in one ear and out the other and she just nods her head. I've spoken to her in office about upping my Wellbutrin but then she totally denies she has even said that. The rest of the staff is very nice. I just definitely don't reccomend dr. Monica. She clearly doesn't take mental health seriously. She also ignores 99% of my messages on my chart. If I could give the "doctor" herself a review I would. I love the office itself just not the doctor I'm seeing.

My appointment was at 10:30a.m it's now 11:25 I've been sitting here in the room waiting and waiting and waiting! This is freaking ridiculous!
