To say okay is a disrespect to this restaurant!! Can I say phenomenal superb awesome? Amazing? Everything was great, great-great.
I'm having my birthday dinner there this month and I hope I can repeat the experience by saying I had the best birthday ever period
This place is such a great vibe. And whether you want to be on a romantic date or hanging out with your girls. This is the place to be. Yeah I feel like I was Beyonce or somebody !!

Genusa's has definitely become my top Italian restaurant. Everything was top-notch from the time we walked in.

Service was a 10/10 from beginning to end. Our waiter answered all of our questions and made suggestions. Atmosphere was lovely.

The bread that is served is OMG! Lol!

The strawberry and blueberry lemon drops are good.

We ordered chicken parmesan, chicken pomodoro(see pic), and seafood alfredo(see pic). All super delicious 😋.

Expect to spend some money but it is well worth it. Can't wait to go back.

Genusa’s is a remarkably unique and tailored meal for those looking for an authentic Italian dining experience. We went for a birthday celebration and were able to enjoy the bone-in filet coupled with the renowned lemon drop martini. Perfectly cooked, medium rare along with an incredible wait staff made for one of the best meals I have ever partaken in. We had the Italian sausage and eggplant for appetizers which were out of this world. You cannot go wrong and if you have any questions, the wait staff is more than able to accommodate. Highly recommend for any occasion. Don’t take my words for it, Check out the attached photos to really immerse yourself in what Genusa’s is all about. You will not leave disappointed, or hungry.

My wife's favorite is the chicken fettuccini alfredo and the goat cheese salad.
Often we get the family spaghetti and meatballs to go!!
Such a wonderful place with great food and great service!

Best restaurant in the Monroe/West Monroe area. Food is always excellent. Service is superb. My favorite restaurant in town.

My husband and I ate there for my birthday. Everything was perfect. The dessert menu wasn’t diverse, but we were full anyway.

This Brooklyn born and bred Paisan Didn't expect to find such good Italian food in Monroe Louisiana,with great service to boot! Highly recommended

This place was packed but with a short wait all 6 of us were seated. Malia was our waitress and she did a fantastic job while offering suggestions to our food questions. Everyone loved their meal. I particularly did enjoy my seafood fettuccine. Fantastic! Great experience.

Family really enjoyed the food and atmosphere.....I feel I have to share that as good as that was our waiter missed the mark. He was young and obviously inexperienced. When u spend the amount I did this just cannot happen.

A Monroe CLASSIC!! This was my first visit since the accident. MAKE SURE TO CALL DAYS IN ADVANCE IF YOU WANT TO ENSURE A TABLE AT A DECENT TIME! The new "post fire" building is elegant and clean. The better news is the food is still fantastic. The dip for the bread was nice, as was the fresh garlic bread. The steaks were REALLY nice. Perfect cook, super tender and as long as you like a little rosemary in your seasoning on your steak, it was absolutely wonderful. The seafood pasta was mildly spicy and heavily garlic flavored. The shrimp were nice and not overcooked and there were a decent amount of lump crab bits. The fresh veggies in the pasta were really nice. The spinach was good, but the mashed potatoes with cheese were fantastic! The bread pudding was the best we have had in a good while. The service was spectacular. They checked on us regularly without bugging us constantly. The prices are not meant for someone on a tight budget, but not so high that it's not affordable for most for a nice birthday or anniversary meal.

This restaurant was absolutely perfect. The food was exquisite and they offer a wide variety of wines and cocktails. If you plan on going on a weekend, make sure to make a reservation at least 5 days in advance. They get very busy on Friday and Saturday nights. Overall the best restaurant experience I've had the Twin City area.

The bartender Kelsi made our whole experience exciting. I'll definitely return due to her attentiveness.

Update: Kelsey waited on me again tonight at the bar and I want to say she really is awesome at her job!

The appetizer shrimp & crab cakes are the best I've ever had anywhere!!! Simply off the chain!!! The service is great. Our server's recommendations and knowledge of how the food is prepared made us want everything we had questions about. I had the veal chop and fried brussel sprouts and my husband had the bone in filet, and he is a steak man!! Everything, and I do mean EVERYTHING was so good, we sang with every bite!!!

Always amazing!!! First visit in 20+ years and tastes just as good as I remember!!!

I had the Tuna steak (medium) & it was surprisingly the best I've had (& for tuna that's kind of a tough statement to believe since most tuna steaks taste the same)! I think it may have been the dipping sauce, but definitely worth a repeat trip.

My boyfriend and I were looking for a restaurant to go to and saw this restaurant had alot of good reviews. We decided to try out the restaurant. The outside of the restroom was very inviting so was the location. It was very packed and we had to sit at the bar. The ambiance was very inviting. We had to wait for 5 minutes to sit at the bar to get sitting which was fine. The bartender was very attentive and knew his drinks. Ask about the Cranberry Martini or the Rum Lemon Drop drink. He had the Grilled Halibut with Asparagus and Mashed Potatoes. I had the Grilled Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo. They gave garlic bread bites as we waited for our food. Let's just say the food was so good it made us want to ask for seconds.. lol. We loved the food and we will definitely be coming back again.. The food was amazing!!
