Chaps Pit Beef Baltimore

I highly recommend the chicken tenders that are large and made with real breast meat. I also ordered the smoked turkey sandwich and it was large and tasty.. The fries are delicious. The new building/location is big. A must visit or revisit!

The Pit Beef is AMAZING! Great texture, and great flavor. And the ribs were spot on. If you don't eat here while you're in Baltimore, YOU ARE MISSING OUT.

First time trying Chaps today’s and wow did it impress! The staff was amazing and the food exceeded expectations! Prices are legit as well. It was so good we had to get bulk meat to go! Def will go back for more! The pit beef and sausage… my god! 🤤

Man o man I been coming here for years this by far is the best pit beef in all of Maryland & U.S. I would say this place is an institution just like Jimmy's & a Baltimore staple u can't go wrong with nothing on the menu I've had pretty much everything from the Raven to the habbit to there fried wings but my all time favorite is the triple B aka the Baltimore Bad boy club love it so much I should get it tatted on me & the owner Bob is a real one very nice owner & always loving towards my mom & who ever I bring to eat at his place plus Marvin the GM or head chef is my guy too been knowing them for years never had a bad experience at chaps food is outta A+++ !!!

Pit beef sandwich was so good! I highly recommend adding the gold BBQ sauce and a lot of onions to level up the taste (it's plain without them)

I've been going to Chaps since it was just a stand on Pulaski highway. This place is the best pit meat sandwiches around. I absolutely recommend the corned beef rachel.

This is a must stop for anyone coming to Baltimore!! I know some people might be turned off by all the food network accolades (snobs 🤣) but it's worth the hype for sure!! The meats are perfect every single time, this time I had the Tricom and Guy's triple d ( not in the same meal they're huge) and could not have been more satisfied especially after adding the combo of horse radish and house BBQ on them... So good.
Can't wait to come back!!

This place is AWESOME!!!! I had the beef with fries and gravy. Explored Baltimore then came back a 2ND TIME for just the beef. It was absolutely phenomenal. Try the gold bbq sauce. I don't know what's in it but bottle it and TAKE MY MONEY$$

While visiting Baltimore, we decided to go by Chaps and get lunch and take home some of the delicious beef. We are from North Carolina and had seen it featured on DDD. The food was delicious and I made French Dip sandwiches with the beef. Absolutely delicious! Will definitely be making a trip there when we take a weekend road trip. People were friendly and I spoke with the owner about Guy Fieri coming in to feature them on his show. He was nice and we talked about it and how we had seen it and wanted to come check it the place

I finally made it Chaps Pit Beef! Great service, friendly staff, and the food is great! The meat is delicious, and there are plenty of toppings and drinks! Locals add to the flavor and the prices are reasonable! Kid menu and options are available!

The new building hasn't taken away any of the charm or quality of food from this location. The service has improved in both speed and quality. There's a lot more seating and the environment has been dragged into the modern era.

Enjoy a pit beef sandwich with your choice of fixings at their condiment bar. For me it's pickles, onions, and their golden BBQ sauce all the way.

While the original Chaps building was a throwback to a bygone era the new one is an homage to enjoying BBQ and quality time with friends and family. I love their pit beef sandwiches and am looking forward to coming back to this location every time I pass through Baltimore.

Chaps has a new location adjacent from it's original structure. The New Location is very nice and staff was on hand constantly cleaning and restocking the condiments/soda areas. Ordering was issue free and timely. Food was hot and tasty. Like that you are able to exit through a different door, so as not to have to pass into the ordering line. Great experience.

Loved this place, my first time, and wow, the pit turkey is so delicious. My husband had the pit beef and loved it. Great portions, great staff, very friendly, and the place is so clean we will be back soon.

Food comes out quick and the condiment station is always full of what you need. Sometimes the Mac n cheese may need to be reheated, but it’s top shelf Baltimore PitBBQ at its finest

I finally got a chance to try the famous Chaps! For those of you that don’t know, Guy Fieri and Adam Richman have both made stops here and loved it.

I have to say the hour and a half drive down from Lancaster was absolutely worth the wait. It’s funny because it’s directly beside a gentleman’s club and the place is small, but looks can be deceiving. The kitchen is open and you can see them grilling all of the meat and slicing it before putting it on your sandwich.

I ordered the “Raven” which is corned beef, regular beef, turkey and cheese. You also get to order your meat at your preferred temperature. The combination of flavor just smacks you in the mouth from the start. You can taste the flames of the fire in the meat, but in the best way possible. The quality is top notch and the gravy fries are the perfect pairing. There are numerous locations but I was advised that the OG location in Baltimore is top spot. Do yourself a favor and check this place out.

The real deal! BBQ pit so good that there’s a line out the door at 1045am. Location is just off 95 making it a convenient stop for a delicious breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Chaps had been featured on many food network programs like Guy Fieri’s Diners, Drive-ins and Dives.

Don’t forget the sauce!! They have an assortment of delicious sauces that compliment the BBQ.

I decided to get “The Raven” specialty sandwich which consisted of Roast Beef, Corned Beef and Turkey! If you are ever driving by Baltimore- this is a must stop and enjoy.
