Prost German Restaurant Aberdeen, MD

This is the best German food I have ever had. We drove 1.5 hours from PA to try this place and it was well worth it. The best sauerkraut hands down! And my family was fighting over the pig wings they were so good. Highly recommend. Staff was great to. Super friendly and awesome service. Just don't get the dessert. I mean, the desserts were great but at 9$ a slice, it was not worth that.

The picture shows the German sausage sampler. 6 different sausages. They all tasted spectacular. My daughter and I shared that plate. That plate also has the sauerkraut and German potato salad. We got a side of red cabbages as well. All five of us in the family loved all 3 of those sides.

After eating at a few legitimate places in Germany, I was craving some authentic German food in the states. I found this place and it was highly rated, and now I see why. The atmosphere felt like I was back in Germany! The food was fantastic, the beer was even better, and the service was impeccable. If I’m ever back in the Aberdeen area, I’ll make it a point to come back to this place!

It’s so nice to have some variety here in Aberdeen. I came for a quick bite and ended up getting the flying pig wings w/ the boozy sauce which is as good as they make it sound, fall of the bone tender. I also got the fries, and dinner roll which were sooo good with the butter! To top the meal off I tried one of the wines and I’m happy to say I loved it. They have plenty of seating so bring the family. Personally I know I’ll be back and I’ll be bringing friends!

I left Germany in 88 with the military and have never found a German restaurant this good in a long time. The food was as I remembered. Full of flavor portions were good. The authentic attire, along with the gentleman playing the accordion, just made the experience that much better. Going next year for their Octoberfest.

Second time visiting and a wonderful experience both times. We did my bachelor party dinner two years ago here and came today with the wife. Delicious food and always delicious food. Food that’ll make you sleep heavy that night! I know we’re gonna! Thanks everyone.

Authentic German restaurant. Thor, our server was great. Food was fantastic. Oh, and they have beer. German draft beer. The name says it all...

The food and beer here are amazing. The staff is always incredibly friendly and happy. The sauerbraten is the only one I've ever eaten that's all good as my mom's and the bread dumpling and red cabbage are both delicious.

This place is a haven and I come here whenever life is getting too rough to eat, drink and escape for a couple hours.

It's even better in the warmer months when the biergarten is open.

This place was so good I went twice in the same week! I was in town for another event and a friend brought me here on Wednesday. I brought my partner again on Saturday. The schnitzel was fabulous, as was the spaetzle. The mushroom gravy was So Good. Try the baked brie appetizer! Their pretzels are also amazing, and their rolls are fresh and hot and delicious. My partner tried their roast pork shank and it was phenomenally tender and falling off the bone. So good!

This is excellent German food. The atmosphere is also very cozy. The staff are helpful and friendly. The menu is classical German food with a wide variety of choices. The beer selections are amazing considering we are not in Germany. There should be something pleasing on the menu for anyone who likes authentic German food and beer.

We tried this restaurant for the first time without knowing what to expect. It was great! The food was fantastic and Nance helped us make great choices (I don't know if it is possible to make a bad choice).

A wonderful dining experience. Great german beer selection, excellent food, delicious desserts! Cheerful attentive staff, with great ambiance! Definitely a "go to again" location!

We popped in for lunch and ordered the bacon jalapeño poppers, rockfish strips, and the jagarschnitzel. A cold liter of schöfferhofer grapefruit topped off this mid-day feast. Great food with friendly service, as usual!

The atmosphere was great! The only thing I didn’t like was that the beef stew I had was too spicy and it was not advertised on the menu. My husband had pork shank and it was delicious. We will be coming back soon. We also loved the live music and family environment! Prost and cheers 🍻

Just got the Schnitzel sandwich with fries. It was juicy and delicious. I’ve been here before and the pork wings were pretty authentic. I need to try the rest of their menu.

Really love coming here. The food, service, and atmosphere are great. And the beer selection is truly fantastic. The best German brewers and styles are well represented. Would definitely recommend visiting anytime. There are even a few iconic German products available for sale in the entryway.

The only criticism I have is that the special Oktoberfest event was a little underwhelming. Not a lot going on, and it was freezing outside with no heat lamps. Perhaps this can be improved upon in coming years.

Great German vibe to the place all the way down to the outfits the waitresses wear. Food was great.

There was live music. The atmosphere was authentic German, the food was amazing, the jäger schnitzel was perfectly seasoned, and the mushroom gravy was the perfect consistency. The spätzel was really tasty as well. Our waitress was perfect! Super engaged and funny! The beer was great as well. Definitely will be returning to try more beer and food!

Prost is a great dining experience every time I visit! I have been a patron of Prost for many years now including at their previous location. Never disappointed. I've tried many of their menu items and have yet to be unhappy with the meal. The environment is relaxing and German themed (including the server's attire). The outside seating area is nice as well though I usually sit inside. Desserts and appetizers are on point as well. I have nothing but positive experiences dining here and will continue to be a patron!

WOW!!! If it were any more authentic, I'd be in Deutschland!!! Fabulous German restaurant here in Aberdeen!! The food, the service and the decor and music were wunderbar!!! To start, a liter of ice cold Paulaner Hefeweizen. Then a bowl of beef and pork goulash and an order of deep fried jalapeno, bacon, and mashed potato bites!! They were delicious!!! Then a main course of Schweinhaxe with a bread dumpling and red cabbage on a bed of gravy!! The pork shank was melt in your mouth tender!! Followed by an apple struedel right from the oven with powdered sugar and whipped cream!!! A memorable meal for sure!! I will be back!!!
