The Brass Tap

Surprisingly (to me) I really liked this place. It does not seem like much when you walk up, just a pub style restaurant in a mall... but, the food was really top notch.
I had lunch on a Saturday with my 8 year-old. Brass Tap was not overly busy, it was "seat yourself" and we had no issue getting a seat. There is an impressive wall of taps for dozens of draft beer, tho I did not partake on this day. Also, dozens of TVs with sports on them, not my bag, but maybe it is yours.
There did not seem to be a kids menu that I could find, unfortunately, so I had to get the kiddo an adult plate (that she could not finish) of chicken tenders and fries. I was able to taste this since she did not eat it all and the chicken was crispy juicy and delicious. I usually will get fish and chips when I see it on a menu, it is a good way to judge a restaurant generally. However, the brisket grilled cheese caught my eye, and I am glad it did! It was DELICIOUS! Loaded with cheddar, pepper jack, pickled onion and jalapeno! The bread was perfectly toasted brioche and a tangy BBQ sauce. The fries were perfect, as well, hot and crispy crinkle cut fries!
So good, and our server was great too. I loved the easy pay option with the handheld device, and we were out the door with no problem. I look forward to coming back!

Good food, good atmosphere, and fun trivia! I was fortunate enough to fill my belly with wings and my ego with the trivia win.
Courtney was a fantastic bartender as well. She didn’t let any bar goers go unnoticed and had some good recommendations. Definitely will be returning!

Food and atmosphere were awesome. Felt comfy yet alive in the restaurant. Courtney was a WONDERFUL bartender/server. Very knowledgeable on drink selection and the best table side manner I've experienced in this area. Well done! I will be coming back.

Stopped in today for lunch, weekly specials listed outside before you walk in was nice. Got lucky and happened to stop in when they give veterans a % off (Wednesday)

Our bartender/server was the only one working the front and wasn't very busy but managed to keep everybody flowing. Friendly service.

Funny seeing people say it's not family friendly...it's a bar...it's in the name.

Simple and small menu so I would guess only a small amount is cooked from frozen. Good bun on the burger.

Huge selection of alcohol to choose from with a list printed daily.

Our servers name was Courtney and she did an excellent job. She was very professional and friendly and made sure we had everything needed. She also kept check on us to see if we needed more drinks or anything other items. The next time I came back, I will be requesting Courtney's area. Thank you Courtney for making my experience great!

Ask for Johnny! When I was there enjoying lunch, a young child approached the bar and said he had lost his parents in the mall. Johnny found his parents calmly and quickly. The other staff at Brass Tap said that Johnny often pulls children out of burning homes as a volunteer firefighter, so this act of bravery and kindness isn't out of the ordinary for him. He pours a great drink too, ask about their specials!

Quintessential sports bar with great bar food—watch out huge portions!! Courtney was our server/bartender and was just the right amount of friendly and efficient with getting our orders, then bringing food and the check. It’s a bummer when waiting for any of those things

Destiny was a breath of fresh air in a world filled with chaos. Our experience was nothing short of transcendental (look it up). The food was on time and the experience was elevated beyond the realm of comprehension by the stellar service provided by Destiny. Will return every day for the rest of my life until I reach full ascension into beautiful oblivion.

One of the best Bartenders I ever met since I moved out to Baltimore. It has been an awesome time even when bringing friends of mines. Nevertheless, one of the best personalities in the restaurant industry.- From Customer to Andrew( The Great) 💯

The food was absolutely delicious. Restaurant was very clean and employees were very nice and accommodating. Everything was made to order and was fresh. The fries were very delicious... top 3 fries in my opinion, nice and thin & crispy. The fish & chips was served with tarter and coleslaw. The Coleslaw was OK... The food is always great, and the atmosphere is welcoming. Shout out to Andrew for being my go to bartender. Happy hour is reasonable and game nights keep me coming back.

The pub burger was great. Was able to ask for a custom drink, which Alexis provided! It was absolutely delicious, and she was a very good server the whole night. Experience was superb.

Andrew has been my absolutely favorite bartender for over a year. I am pleased with his service every time I come. Very good drinks.

Very inviting and love the self seating. The food was fresh and hot. I ordered steak tacos that came with chips and salsa. I loved the presentation and toppings on the tacos. Truly love at first bite. The margarita flights came in really cute glasses with very tasty options. I will be returning soon to enjoy more good eats and the ambiance.

Update: I came back again to try the smoked pork quesadilla on Taco tuesday. Very fresh with a smokey sweet taste. Such a delight.

Very attentive and continuously keeps the place clean. Andrew emptied out the trashcan right before I unfortunately dropped my ring in the the trashcan while throwing away paper towels, but because the trashcan was empty, I was able to find my ring in a deep, but luckily empty trashcan. The ring is very important to me.

I didn't get food here, but the drinks were awesome! Good atmosphere for where it's located. You hardly feel like you're inside the mall.

There was unexpected music bingo which was fun, and we ended up stay longer than what we were planning (not a bad thing!)

The bartenders were very attentive and made sure our drinks stayed full.

My server, Alexis, was amazing. Service with a smile, the complete package. Food and drinks were great, 11/10 will definitely be coming back thanks to Alexis’ great customer service.

I started coming to the Brass Tap Of Towson about a month ago. The food is reasonably priced and actually pretty good. The bartenders are helpful and attentive! Especially Destiny!!! Highly recommend stopping in to see her.
