The Bun Shop

I have always been a huge fan of the original bun shop location and I am so happy to see that their Towson location is just as charming and wonderful as the original. The space is huge and lends itself well to groups of any size as well as prolonged computer work or meetings. Furniture and aesthetic is curated all the way into the restrooms. However, a pretty space would mean nothing if the drinks and food didn’t deliver; thankfully they do. There is a wide variety of buns in both savory and sweet. I’ve always been happy with whatever bun I’ve chosen so branch out and try something new each time. Coffee and beverages are interesting and varied - my only request is that they bring back the aloe lemonade. Finally, friendly and attentive service makes this an easy 5/5.

Very nice, comfortable, and quiet. The tea was lovely and the barista was friendly. This was my first visit after a hiatus of a couple of years because it used to be loud with music playing and it was difficult to get any work done so I am glad I gave it a second chance because it was quite lovely.

I love this place, Really consistently great coffee, very friendly staff. The buns, both sweet and savory and other food items I have tried have been really delicious too. I like the atmosphere, multiple comfortable seating options and well spread out so you can have a quiet conversation, and distance yourself from other people for safety sake. I love coming here for coffee dates to sit and sip and chat.

One of the most zen, conducive to study and good conversation spots you will ever find. Fantastic Harvey & Sons teas including a delectable white peach tea. The pastries here are all the owner's creation, which are classic patisserie and all worth trying. Recommend the berry pocket & chicken Tikka roll. They do poetry and music meets here as well. Located across from 7 West. The owner and staff are very hospitable and attentive. Best tea spot in Baltimore. Evan is a fantastic barista.

Good coffee, unique cafe snacks, and a very large dining room space. Imagine it's a popular study spot for Towson students.

Perfect little place to study, chat or hang out. My wife and I often come here for a quiet place to study. Lots of spaces to spread out, free wifi, and pretty good coffee and snacks.

Very tasty buns. Tried the mushroom tart, apple and gruyere, rotiboy (sweet bun), ham and gruyere, and the chicken puff. Must try the rotiboy, but the menu rotates everyday. Space is great and quiet, perfect place to study.

Yum Yum Yummy! Everything that I’ve tired from here is soooo freaking deliciously good! They have Loose Teas, Coffee, and Pastries. My favorite right now is the Vietnamese Coffee💕The guy there makes it perfectly every time!

Started my day out at the Bun Shop to get my cup of energy ⚡ The coffee is always great and ideal for working or meeting with someone to chat ☕ While I was waiting for my red eye, I had the opportunity to speak with one of the employees. Her name is Remie and she is an aspiring artist. She showed me some of her designs which I found to be very fascinating. The beanie she is wearing in the picture is actually one of her designs. She mentioned how she is excited and nervous about an upcoming Spring Festival where she will have a vendor spot and get the chance to sell her products. It was a pleasure to learn about someone else’s aspirations & dreams. If you happen to run into her, ask her about her art! Definitely will be back to try an apple turnover!

Amazing tea selection (hot, cold, and lattes) in a big but cozy eclectic setting. Not to mention creative pastries!

What an awesome place. A co-working space vibe with a coffee shop. Great selection of coffee / tea and the unique 'Buns' and always great service.

I do think the place will benefit a lot ($$$$) by extending the food menu a bit.

Such a PERFECT study place located in Towson near the local library. Plenty of space and seating. Amazing coffee, loose leaf teas, and baked goods. I especially love the Nutella chocolate cookie. It pairs well with my Iced Vietnamese

They finally opened in Towson. One of the best coffee places I ever been. Very friendly staff. So welcoming. The store is bigger than the one on the downtown and very well decorated.

I came here with my husband and my 2 little boys and we LOVED this place. The aesthetic is not only welcoming, but incredibly open and beautiful. Theres lots of space to just be and enjoy your food and drink. Their coffee and tea choices were unique and delicious. The buns were soft and flavorful and there a variety of other baked goods that looked just as good.
The bun shop is a rare gem of a Cafe, and we will definitely come back!

This is literally my favorite coffee/tea shop! The atmosphere gives a very cozy vibe and the food was a 10/10!!

This space is quite large but so cozy. The dim lighting sets the mood well. The people who work there are quite friendly and the food is yummy. I had the “Rotiboy” which is a vanilla cream pastry and it’s soft and the flavor is light but so tasty. My friend got the cheese and onion pastry and that was good too- a little too salty but still good. They have nice selection of other baked goods as well as coffee and tea. I would definitely recommend going here to relax, get work done or for the events they have. I went to open mic night and it was awesome! Time sure flies when you’re in there, so be wary of that.😊

Wonderful place! Wasn't sure what to expect with some bad Yelp reviews, but I have no complaints. I ordered the iced chai tea but they were out, so the cashier suggested a great alternative (that I can't remember the name of rn😩). It was delicious!! I definitely recommend this place!

Their delicious drinks and buns help get me through some really tough work days! My go to when I just need a pick me up. Also one of the only places that serves spicy hot cocoa.
