They did a nice job redoing this place. Friendly staff. Good menu. Nice decorations. Very amicable atmosphere. Spacious table set up. Have to try the Philly cheesesteak.
Went back today. I had the Philly cheesesteak & fries. My companion had the Reubens and fries. The server was quick and friendly. Food was delicious. The number of cars in the parking lot shows how many people are equally as pleased. Try Cafe Reflections out!

The space is gorgeous! So fun, bright, and cheerful. Lots of seating options and the menus has something for everyone. Our food came quickly and we were impressed at how fresh and delicious everything was. I can’t wait to come back and try their breakfast smoothies!

Great place for breakfast or lunch. Owner has done amazing decorating the place and making it feel very welcoming. The menu is great. It's not a bargain eatery, but it's worth the $ to enjoy a concise but creative menu, with the food cooked to perfection! I had the grilled cheese with steak and my plate went from full to empty with my belly doing the opposite in a matter of minutes. I'm excited to try the Philly and breakfast on future visits! We'll done small business owner!

This place is BEAUTIFUL! There's a culinary school AND a restaurant. They serve a lot of options but what won me over was the VEGAN PHILLY CHEEZESTEAK!!! You read that correctly. It's AMAZING!! GET HERE ASAP ‼ Did I mention that it's Black owned 🥰🖤✨

I really enjoyed lunch at Cafe Reflections! The vegan grilled cheese sandwich is the best grilled cheese sandwich I’ve ever had (vegan or non-vegan), with multiple types of cheese, fig jam and peppadew peppers. Fabulous flavor!

There are many options for omnivores, vegetarians and vegans. Great service, too, and a bright and airy space.

My motivation to check the cafe out was to support the programs they offer in the community — and it ended up being one of the best lunches I’ve had in awhile.

The people are very kind and friendly, I felt immediately welcomed as part of the community. During breakfast, one of the chefs even asked for my opinion on which plating option looked more appealing. Overall, I had a very sweet experience and want to continue to support the staff and students here.

Vegan friendly, unassuming, comfortable, and energetic. Connected to a culinary institute of the same name, the food was delicious and fresh. As a small venue, parking can be challenging, but street parking is available.

My partner and I finally walked down to check it out. It did not disappoint! The decor and atmosphere were bright and cheerful. The staff was extremely friendly along with the other customers. We chatted to a few while we were waiting for our food. The food was delicious! I had the burger and sweet potato fries and my partner had the Philly cheese steak. This will definitely be one of our regular spots!

I kept driving by and have been wondering when this place would open! The signs had been up for a long time. So there was a widespread power outage in KC, starting last Friday and, for many folks, lasting through the weekend and into Monday. I mention this because we woke up last Saturday, still no power, and decided to go to breakfast. I thought I'd seen a recent social media post about Cafe Reflections, so we decided to go there.

I'm so glad we did. It's a hip little cafe with elevated diner staples and some menu surprises, too. My husband and I are vegetarians, and we were happy to see vegan meat options and other vegan/vegetarian items (including sandwiches) on the menu as well. They have good coffee options, truly excellent Southern-style biscuits, delicious pancakes, yummy vegan sausage. But their lunch options looked great, too, and I want to try the veggie burger next time. We weren't the only diners there experiencing a power outage, and from what I could tell, everyone was enjoying the place.

Also the cafe looks really cool inside: I love the splattered-paint floor and the decor displays with the beehive jars and the eclectic style. It seems like a place where they threw together things they could get, and used what they had, and everything just works. We liked it so much we are going back tomorrow and bringing a friend.

I talked with our server a little bit, and I got the idea that the current menu is sort of a starting-out menu---seems like more things are coming. I'm excited to see what. I bet they have something good for everyone. (LITERALLY everyone, actually: they also have a pay-it-forward options on their menu, where you can buy that and help the cafe in their efforts to feed those in need. I love that, and we were happy to help with that too.)

Only thing is that I wish they were open on Sundays. We love going to breakfast/brunch on Sundays! And when we still didn't have power on Sunday morning, we wanted to go back but then I remembered they weren't going to be open. Maybe they'll consider opening Sundays and closing on Mon/Tues instead.

I order 2 breakfast meals and they were absolutely delicious. Cooked and seasoned to perfection. I will definitely be coming back regularly

Delicious and HEALTHY food, very relaxed and welcoming environment, Owners are super nice and it's also Black-owned! I have been looking for somewhere that I can study/work that is not just coffee shop food but real food and this is exactly it. One of the few spots like this in the area. I absolutely love it and will be sharing with everyone I know.

I just tried this for the first time, and I'm happy I did. The interior design is really fun.
I must have been really hungry cause I needed to order two meals for myself.
I got the Reuben and the burger.
Overall it was really well made and it has a good balance of flavor. I look forward to trying their breakfast when I get a chance.

My son and I went for “Taco Tuesday” and loved EVERYTHING! They have the best queso EVER and the sour cream was sooo good I dipped my tacos in them(I am not a sour cream person). My son loved the beef, I loved the chicken!

Just loved the menu items,😋 such a good variety of items to pick from ! 🤗 Went with a group of girlfriends we all got something different & all loved 🥰 it, i got the nice looking hamburger & it was good, comes with chips 👍 also got the chocolate mini Bundt cake with Oreo cookie on top & since it was my birthday 🥳 a candle on top 🤗 it was so delicious 😋 👍 & fun. 🤩 My girlfriends & I will be going back ! 😎
