I was a patient of Dan's many years back for back pain, and Dan quickly and accurately assessed the problem and was able to prescribe exercises that were highly effective in eliminating my back pain! So when my daughter was having pain due to shin splints, I knew that Dan would be able to help her! Dan once again accurately determined the source of the problem and was able to give my daughter an exercise program that helped her finish out her cross country season injury free! I highly recommend Dan McGovern, he has an immense amount of experience and knowledge to help you achieve your goals and getting back to doing the activities you love!

Dan's work is awesome! He engaged me at an energy level that aligned with my fitness history and recovery goals.
I came to Dan for physical therapy after being "freed" by my orthopedic MD from 7 weeks in a full-length leg brace and crutches (broken knee cap injury).
At age 72, all the muscles around the patella, as well as every other muscle in the leg were severely atrophied. I had very little range of motion in the effected knee and sharp pain from any engagement of the leg muscles.
After 2 months of weekly in-office sessions and daily exercise assignments, Dan and I celebrated my full recovery. Today, I do my daily 2-mile power walk pain free and full of gratitude for Dan's competence.

I had the pleasure of working directly with Dan in Boston for a number of years. In addition to being a passionate and highly knowledgeable sports medicine practitioner, he is a great all-around person. If you are looking for sports medicine and rehab services in the Scituate area, I highly recommend Dan McGovern and Next Level Physical Therapy.

I have worked with Dan McGovern for 10+ years, primarily on strength and conditioning for my golf game. I have found Dan to be an extraordinarily knowledgeable resource about the science of the body, and also about how to resolve body function issues. Dan takes a strong interest in me, and he motivates me to work on the plan that we have worked on together. Everyone needs a resource like Dan McGovern on their team!

Dan worked with my 16 year old son on a back issue. My son was in significant discomfort when we began working with Dan. Within two weeks, my son had almost not pain and over the course of the next month, had his range of shoulder and hip motion increase greatly. Dan was great to work with and very effective!

My daughter worked with Next Level Physical Therapy, and specifically Bridget McGovern and Dan McGovern following an ACL injury she received while playing college field hockey, as well as following surgery and repair of her ACL. Thank you in great part to the diligence, physical therapy received from Next Level Physical Therapy, and their professionalism and follow up with my daughter's trainer at school, she was able to successfully make a full recovery, returning to varsity field hockey and other college sports, including club ice hockey and club lacrosse. I highly recommend Next Level Physical Therapy and all individuals we have been in contact with that are associated with this business.

Dan addresses each and every concern. I’ve seen him for post op care after knee surgery and foot surgery, as well as for more minor injuries. He listens, evaluates and provides excellent care, including at home and long term exercises. I highly recommend Dan

Dan is an extraordinarily talented and careful clinician. He has treated every member of my family for a wide assortment of problems and inevitably finds things that other practitioners have missed. His advice is practical and problem-focused, and he has been able to solve problems that have stumped specialists from elite medical centers. I feel extremely fortunate to be a patient of his.
