Blue Ridge Medical Center - Yancey Campus

I recently moved here and was nervous about leaving a doctor that I have known for 20 years. Blue Ridge Medical Center is filled with warm and caring professionals. They care about you as a whole person. I am truly thrilled with the medical care I have received and would highly recommend this medical practice.

I have been seen as a patient by Dr. Seneker, Dr. Khan and Brittany Young. They are all highly knowledgeable, work together to support one another for a patient's care (which is what we want) and have successfully treated my mom now for upwards of 20 years, and I have been a patient there for over ten years.

I can and do recommend these doctors and medical providers to my friends and family. We do discuss our medical care and I know we have the most dedicated, knowledgeable and caring medical staff that money can buy. It is as simple as that.

The front office is organized, efficient and more than capable to see us in and out as quickly and as efficiently as possible. I thank these clerks and receptionists for all that they do to streamline our entries and our exits with exceptional capabilities.

I am beyond disbelief when I hear of people who have trouble walking, riding or even being able to ride without getting car sick, driving an hour or an hour and a half to see a primary care physician when we have such a jewel of a facility literally in our front yard.

I can and do recommend the Yancey Medical Facility with no hesitation.

Great place for health care. Doctors, nurses and all staff very attentive, professional and concerned for your needs. Appointments are done in a timely manner so you can plan your day.. Top notch!! Thank you Dr Kimmel and staff.

Wonderful staff When you walk in!! Wonderful nurses and doctors!! Dr. Kimmel just rocks! Timothy Seneker would have to be one of the nicest Drs. I have ever met. Sherry is wonderful! ILA as well! All the nurses are nice and treat you well! Highly recommend!

All staff are kind and friendly. Dr. McDonald is very thorough and takes time to discuss any questions or concerns that a patient may have. I really appreciate her!

Dr. Kimmel and his nurse Crystal are fantastic. I drive from two counties away to see them. This is the best primary care in WNC. Dr. Kimmel always communicates in a way that is clear and concise so I can understand, he explains everything very well, he answers my questions, he's smart as a whip, and he's kind. The staff at the Yancey Campus facility are always friendly and helpful. I'm so grateful for these folks, especially now during the pandemic. Thanks for all you do to serve the people of WNC.

I’m so pleased with my visit to the center and with Dr. Khan. No waiting time, the electronic check-in makes the whole process so easy and the staff is so welcoming. Dr. Khan didn’t rush thru the visit and explained in detail all my questions. Very happy with the whole experience.

My doctor is Dr David Pope I can't say enough for my doctor and his nurses they treat you with the utmost respect each and every visit Dr Pope explains everything very clearly to me when it comes to an MRI -X-ray so I can understand it he takes a lot of pride in what he does in a lot of pride in his patience I look forward to working with Dr David Pope and I'm happy to hear that it comes to Burnsville once a week on Wednesdays I live in Burnsville but I see him in spruce pine normally and that's no problem I never wait more than a minute and he's knocking at the door comes in you don't find too many doctors that come in that fast to me that's taking a lot of pride in their patient and getting right down the business on what he needs to do with this patient thank you so much Dr David Pope and all your nurses they're all so kind I look forward to working with you on this left knee I couldn't ask for a better doctor thank you once again your patient Rene Sparks ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
