Morgan's Bakery & Cafe

I went in with my friend for the first time yesterday. The selection of everything made it hard to decide on what to get since everything looked so delicious. Picked the chocolate donut twist which were so very good and fresh. The main thing that impressed me was the young girl that checked me out actually counted my change back to me. This is very rare anymore and when it happens I always make a point to let that person know how much that is appreciated. Shd said everyone has to learn how to count change back that works there. I say "Thank you" to the owners for teaching a lost practice in these times we live in. I was taught this over 50 years ago and wished everyone would require it in their business. It may seem unimportant to most but to me it is impressive.

LOVE Morgan's Bakery!!! Everything always tastes fresh and delicious!! There was an excellent variety of items to choose from. My favs are the 4 O'Clocks....and the tiger cookie (It's a Tahlequah thing)

One of the best places for donuts. They are true bakery donuts and icing to die for. Their specialty cookie a great. And there Tiger cookies are legend around here. Don't leave Tahlequah before stopping by and get some goodies.

I grew up on Morgan's Bakery! LOVE THIS PLACE. My mom always got my cakes here as a kid. Seemed only fitting I drive all the way from Aurora MO to get my 50th birthday cake. The brownies are to die for. Love the cream horns too! For me a taste of home! Only wish they'd bring back the tee pee cookies. I haven't found a place close to compare in the 30 years away.

My mom use to work there in the 70s, Helen Sweat. It was awesome back then. So was the 5 and dime store.

This is where to get these magically delicious soft cookies that I must have every time I come home. Morgan's has been here forever and is a fine piece of Tahlequah history. They could have three or four bakery's spread around town and Muskogee and I am pretty sure they would do just fine.

Awsome customer service! My son woke up on his birthday asking for a "birthday donut". I told him well I will go get some donuts but I have never heard of a "birthday donut". I decided to try Morgan's bakery because I knew they did cakes and was most likely to get help here. After telling the front helper my story she prompted went to the back and came out with the "birthday donut"! Definitely 5 stars for helping to make my boys birthday that much better!

The BEST cookies ever! Tiger cookies are the greatest!! Their cakes are delicious, as well as their donuts and pastries! Been in business for over 50 years!

We have to make a stop whenever we are in town. The kids love the decorated cookies and my husband's favorite is the 4 o'clock. For me, it's all about the tiger cookies.

The absolute best tiger cookies on the planet. Use to eat these as a baby and have a purple diaper from the purple cookies 😂 never gets old
