Loring Hall Cinema

I love the Loring! Not only is there always a good movie showing 3 times a day, the prices are unbeatable and so is the atmosphere. It's always quiet here and the seating and concession areas are always kept clean. All I can hope is that everything stays that way and that the theatre continues to fulfill its niche here in Hingham for generations to come. Thank you to all of the hard-working staff for making every moviegoing experience here an outstanding one for me and my family and thank you for always putting comfort and quality first. Small theatres like this help to make film accessible to everyone in the community, which is so so important, not just to me but to many others. Not only that, but the types of films that are shown here of more than just entertainment, they are works of art. I know when I come to Loring I am going to get an enriching and engaging form of entertainment in a quiet and comfortable setting. That being said, I can always look forward to my next visit. Thanks again to the staff and to the community for keeping this place running and for sharing my passion for quality entertainment.

We've been going to the Loring Theatre for many years with friends, our kids (now young adults) at all ages, and each other. We love it! In our opinion it has all the amenities of a larger theatre AND the charm and ambience of a neighborhood theatre that some of us remember from our childhoods. Most importantly, the selection of movies is marvelous. I can't wait to see what's playing next...

A historical gem! A true old movie house. I grew up seeing movies here. So many great cinematic memories here with childhood friends and loved ones! Please support this place for generations to come.

Fun, old fashioned movie theater! Go! You will enjoy the down home feel!

This is a true treasure New England Experience. I'm not sure what this hall used to be, but it's been turned into this old-school style movie theatre where they usually run slightly artistic flair movies (things that might not be generally played or receive short runs at the major theatres like AMC, Regal, etc.). They have a FULL concession stand too!

The draw backs are it's public parking (or I haven't the found the private parking lot yet), the seats are a little outdated and maybe a little uncomfortable, I don't remember them having cup holders and a couple odd trifle things that are more than made-up for by this old fashioned wonderful experience!

Nice place. Comparitively cheap tickets. Decent sound and viewing quality. Very nice staff. Will go again when a movie I'm interested in is playing there.

A great place to see movie's ! Also the mangers on Saturday's Sunday's and Tuesday are awesome they actually understand how to interact with new and faithful costermers! And never loosing your cool with a customer! I'm looking forward on seeing the basic of sex on January 11 .

Very nice atmosphere. Good movie, great price! I would drive again one hour just to spend a nice afternoon in thisctheatre.

It was my first time. at the Loring and I'm happy we arrived early so I had extra to take it all in what a beautiful theater and fond memories it brought.

went to see the Zoo Keepers Wife 4-8-17 small but nice love that they upper a balcony very clean nice staff was the first time my Wife and i was their we will return when a movie we like is playing

Absolutely love this theater. In quaint downtown Hingham. They always get quality films. I hope it sticks around forever
