I had previously lived not far from the Marketplace for over 20 years. Having moved to the Cape 17 years ago, I had forgotten how I loved it! It was as I remembered. Their selections are wonderful, the staff very accommodating, and I left with many bags of delicacies. I'll be back soon.

This was my first time shopping there. I've driven by it hundreds of times. So I finally decided to stop and go in. I'm glad I did. They carry just about everything and the employees there are incredibly helpful. I found it a little more expensive than shaws or stop & shop but I honestly don't mind paying a little more when you carry as many fresh items as this place does. The store is not as big as I thought it was but don't let that fool you. There isles are clean. Not cluttered. But carry just about anything your looking for. Should definitely put it on your list to check out.

Great selection of everything! The “cheese counter salespeople” are very helpful and knowledgeable. But the wine guy is the best. This was my third time asking him about a recipe calling for a wine and once again he had the answer. I know other reviews mention it is more expensive - but believe me - well worth the extra money for the extra service.

A very well run and staffed grocery store! Quality produce that never disappoints my family. All during Covid they were our go to grocery store. All of the staff is very pleasant and very helpful.

It's my "corner store" for anything that needs to be picked up. There is a fine meat market and fish market in the store as well as salads, prepared meals, excellent fruit and vegetables, and all other kitchen, meal prep, juices and desserts in a good variety.

Beautiful little market with lots of fresh and packaged foods. Very clean and everything was artfully displayed. No health and beauty aid section, but they did have paper goods and cleaning supplies. Public restrooms are available including a family restroom. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Great produce selection. Laid back grocery store that carries quite a bit in a small footprint. They seem to have top notch items available in all categories while still offering affordable options.

Go to store for pretty much anything you want, including beer & wine. Good cheese selection, great fish & meat. Desserts are awesome!

The fruit market is a great neighborhood shop. The selection are varied and the wine section is very diverse. The employees are very helpful and kind. The salad bar is amazing. There are meats, greens, dressings, desserts, and anything you could want for a meal!

We stopped in quickly to use the restrooms, because most places were closed because of the pandemic. This place was really pleasant to look at from the outside and the inside everything looked clean and the aisles were large and seemed to have a large selection. We didn't actually buy anything but the place looked great. My twelve-year-old even said that from the outside commenting that the store looked very pretty. That's Quite a compliment for a grocery store.

Such a great variety of fresh produce as well as other food that isn't found in your average grocery store. Plenty of parking and lots of people there to help you if needed.

Shop here several times a week. Great produce, wide variety and consistently fresh. Rocky Neck Fish Market is my "go to", the staff is knowledgeable about where each product is from, wild caught vs farmed and when deliveriescome in. Also, very wide craft beer selection.

This is a smaller sized grocery store that is more expensive than most and often crowded. However, they have everything including a good selection of beer and wine. More importantly the produce, cheese, meat and fish are top notch. One different aspect of this store is that the butcher and fish counter are separate entities within the store so you pay for your meat and fish at their respective counters.
The employees seem genuinely happy to be at work and happy to be helping you. Even the customers seem to be happy. While crowded everyone is pleasant and accommodating of each other.
If you want excellent ingredients a friendly atmosphere and are willing and able to spend a bit more than at the big chain markets, this is the place to shop for for food in Hingham and the surrounding area.

The Fruit Center in Hingham is the best place to get all of your veggies & fruits. They have beautiful flowers & plants that make fabulous gifts. They also offer scrumptious breads, muffins, cakes & pies (many baked locally) to tempt your sweet tooth. If you are running late & need something quick yet delicious for dinner, check out their deli counter. You will not be disappointed! The staff is always very helpful & friendly.
