The team at Kathryn Lilly Interiors is so talented. It amazes me how they can deliver on so many different types of interior styles so beautifully. I have been photographing their projects for a couple of years now and I am always surprised and delighted with each home they fill. I love working with them and would recommend their services to any friends looking for an interior designer!

Jody was delightful to work with on our kitchen remodel. She created a perfect plan for us. Very helpful!

Jody and her amazing team are hands down the best interior designers in the area. They did a full kitchen and bathroom remodel for us last year that is 100% magazine worthy. (They were, in fact, photographed and highlighted in a magazine!)
We are currently halfway through a full basement remodel with KLI and they came up with ideas (including moving walls and doorways) that I would have never thought of on my own. Super easy to work with, they simplified the design process for me (it’s too overwhelming to do it on my own) and presented different design, finish, and furniture options to choose from. I found that in the end we saved money because there were no mistakes made (as opposed to me doing it and having to make returns or second guessing my choices).
When we had an issue with a product, it was wonderful to know they were in our corner to help make things right.
I will continue to use and recommend KLI to my friends and neighbors.

I worked with Jody Kurtz with Kathryn Lilly Interiors for over a year while we built our "forever home" on Lake Norman. Her expertise was instrumental during the building process... From reviewing and making suggestions during the planning phase, coming with me to all selection appointments, helping curate incredible tile, cabinet and lighting plans, Jody ensured no detail was overlooked. She completely took the stress out of the process of building a new house! After construction, we hired KLI to assist with furnishings as well. Jody took my design style to heart and turned our house into a uniquely beautiful home. Using KLI was the BEST decision we made and I highly recommend them!

Jody has helped us with a complete remodel of my office and, over the years, with multiple changes to and remodeling of our house. Last year, she helped us redesign our kitchen and just recently, Jody and Jenna helped us do complete remodel of our powder room and a wonderful refresh of our entire house. Before we started, we walked through the house and talked about what was needed in each room; they had great ideas and we ended up with such a beautiful end result - furniture rearranged, new designs, some small changes that made a big difference, de-cluttering, etc. We love our house now. The KLI team has helped us throughout the entire process of a custom build home, from interior and exterior design to furnishings. They are a professional, attentive, and solution-oriented team of creatives with whom I have greatly enjoyed working.

Jody and her team recently helped me make selections for our new custom home, including all the tile, all plumbing fixtures, 75% of lighting, interior and exterior paint, hardware finishes- I’m sure I’m missing something but I could not have done this without them. They kept me focused (not easy) and helped me stay in budget (even harder). The whole process was so overwhelming for me and truth be told, not something I enjoyed doing- but then Jody and her team stepped in. They presented everything so beautifully and the finished product is beyond our wildest dreams. I could not have done this on my own and am so grateful for their help.

I took the pain to explain the details of our new home over phone, send detailed emails on our expectations, our design style and even give a tour of our home to this designer and her assistant. They left our place saying they would be sending us a detail email about their service contract. That was the last interaction I had with them. Inspite of multiple follow up’s they did not even have the basic etiquette to respond to our emails/follow up’s. I do not understand why waste everyone’s time if you are not interested to take a project. Very unprofessional!!! So glad I didn’t have to work with them!
